Smithwoods RV Park, Felton, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

A wonderful RV camp grounds among the Santa Cruz Redwoods. Our campsite was very nice and large. The camp sites are kept very clean and the park hosts drive through often to check on everyone. The showers are very clean and free. They have a heated pool, baseball diamond, basketball area, ping pong and pool. Our grandkids rode their bikes everyday we were at camp until it got dark. This park is perfect for kids and the trails to explore are very close to the park. We will totally return to camp here again! Thank You! We camped at Smithwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Golden Pines RV Resort & Campground, Camp Connell, California

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park has recently been upgraded and cleaned up. The new owners do an amazing job keeping it clean and all the campers following the rules. This is a beautiful park and the views around the edges are awesome. It also has a pool with is a great addition. When we were there it was very quiet and not many sites filled but come Friday afternoon the families that has leased spaces all started showing up and it made for a very busy park. We headed out to explore quite a bit, golfed at Forest Meadows 2 days and spent a afternoon at Big Trees which is 2 miles before the RV park. There is no WiFi or TV reception so be prepared to be off the grid while camping here. We will totally be back very soon. We camped at Golden Pines RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Cotillion Gardens RV Park, Felton, California

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

It's beautiful, clean, and the sites are really nice. This was our first time here and have already made reservations to return next year for a longer period. After chatting with the Office Manager, she gave me some great information about the area and was really nice. It's a really great place for kids that's for sure. The trails are endless, the pool is awesome, and the play area is great for the younger ones, too. We camped at Cotillion Gardens RV Park in a Motorhome.

French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course, Manteca, California

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We were very surprised to find such a clean, nice park. The site pads and very nice and well kept up. There are two nice dog parks and a nice walkway around the park. The facilities were very clean. Everyone we met was very friendly. We came without our grandchildren but will be camping here with them very soon because they would love it here! So much room to play, swim and explore. We didn't golf this time but did hit balls at the driving range. The course looks like fun and was busy all 3 days we stayed. We will come back here often! It was a great weekend getaway! We camped at French Camp RV Park Resort & Golf Course in a Motorhome.

Seacliff State Beach, Aptos, California

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We love love love Sea Cliff SB. It's very stressful trying to get a reservation the first day of each month. But we give it the old college try each month and are able to get in 4 times a year. We love watching everyone walking by all day. You are literally steps from the beach. The waves are so wonderful to listen to at night. You can't go wrong here. Good luck getting a reservation though. We camped at Seacliff State Beach in a Motorhome.

Sierra Skies RV Park, Sierra City, California

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, not year around. Sites are very close, and a very tight fit. Camp host was very nice and helpful. The one thing is there is no cell reception. So you have to use pay phone at top of a little hill. The beautiful river is then at the bottom of the hill the other direction. And will really get you in shape, but in the hot weather is was so worth it. We camped at Sierra Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Los Angeles / Pomona / Fairplex KOA, Pomona, California

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We had a wonderful stay at this KOA, the sites are small with little area to picnic outside your RV but we set up in front of ours very nicely. We stayed for 6 nights to attend the 50th Anniv. NHRA races. The showers/bathroom were very clean with lots of hot water to shower. This is a very clean park. The ladies in the front were very helpful on things to do. They also provided an all day shuttle to the front gate of the races which was awesome! If we return to SoCal again we will stay here because it's so close to everything. The pool wasn't really warm but the hot tub rocked. Wi-Fi was hit and miss but I was on vacation and didn't really care. We met several permanent RVers who were very friendly and helped with ideas of things to do with my young grandchildren while the men were at the races. Over all it was a great vacation! We camped at Los Angeles / Pomona / Fairplex KOA in a Motorhome.
