Lakeside Casino Resort RV Park, Osceola, Iowa

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Spots here are long enough for our 40ft + tow. Valet service is not good at all. Will say their buffets are excellent. There was a lot of construction going on, new pads being poured. Glad to see improvements. We always stay here when traveling to Minnesota. Hope they keep improving, we enjoying stopping here, a little gambling and good food. We camped at Lakeside Casino Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Countryside Campgrounds, Lennox, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The previous review pretty much says it all. We didn't have a reservation, but there was one spot available. Check in at convenience store was easy and very close by, you can get a bite to eat as well. Great for a one night stay. It is close to I29, ext 62, but the noise wasn't bad. Had stayed in other parks that were a lot noisier. The park is currently full of workers, so space is limited. But nice and convenient for us. We have a 40 ft motorhome towin .... makes is abt 60 ft long, no problem getting around in the park. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Two Rivers State Recreation Area, Venice, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Great state park. Had reservations and it was a good thing, it was booked up. Visiting friends and family, park is convenient to Omaha. We had a handy cap stop which was really nice. All sites in this park are back in. Had a little trouble getting the satellite going, alot of trees, but managed. Really nice place, lots of little lakes to fish in, and a nice swimming beach. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Two Rivers State Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Governors' RV Park and Campground, Casselton, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice spot just off I-94; very convenient and easy access off and on I-94. We had a 40 ft motor home towing so our extended 60 ft fit just fine in the spot. Check-in is at the Days Inn hotel, you have access to the indoor water park, and the buffet. Great for a overnight stay. When it's windy you will definitely feel it. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La, Milton, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, we were here after Labor day so it was very quite. I would imagine it would be very busy during the summer months. We had the park to ourselves except for the workers. This is 8 miles off I-80, but it was well work it, nice and quite place. Our rate of $21.50 a night are with our Passport America discount and we had 30 amp. Weather was good and didn't really need 50. Would definitely stay here again in the fall. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Motorhome.

Totoket Valley RV Park, North Branford, Connecticut

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing fancy about this park, but it is very convenient for an overnight stay. At the exit off I91N, (ext8) there is a Walmart and lots of other shopping. We don't us a GPS, just maps and read addresses. I tell you this because we thought we were lost. When getting off I-91 you are in New Haven and the building numbers are okay, but then you get into North Branford and the number start over, so don't panic. The park is well marked on the left, you first see the mobile park, it is marked where to go and park for the RV's. We didn't notice the house to register, but called the number and host came to use to collect. Will use again when in the area. We camped at Totoket Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whispering Pines Campground, Hope Valley, Rhode Island

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park .... Saw Mill road was a little scary, it is definetly a one vehicle road, but if you know what you are doing, you will be fine. Our motorhome with tow is 62 ft long and we were just fine. The pull thrus they have are 40ft long, so we unhooked out truck. People there are all very friendly... most are permanent, but very nice. There is a little snack bar there and we enjoyed that. This would probably a very busy place during the summer, but it was fairly quiet when we were there after Labor Day on a Saturday. Would visit this spot again. We camped at Whispering Pines Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice campground, and a large one. We were on the upper part in the nice sunshine. The lower part was in a nice wooded area, would be a good place to escape the heat. Very much a family orientated park, we were there after Labor Day, so it was quiet. Nice place to stay will definitely stay again when in the area We camped at Circle CG Farm Campground in a Motorhome.

Sandy Beach Resort, Contoocook, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This was a terrible Encore park. If you have anything over 32ft, do not use this park. We had a 40ft RV and it was awful. Roads are narrow, corners are tight .... my husband is excellent in driving our big rig but this place was a challenge. None of the campsites we saw were level, all had a hill or a tree in the way. Just don't know how some of those people got there rig in there. As for getting to the office, but a hill and a narrow circle drive. We unhooked the toad and he still had to back up the RV to get out. We camped at Sandy Beach Resort in a Motorhome.

Delaware Motel & RV Park, New Castle, Delaware

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Good place for and overnight stay. When verifying directions with MapQuest use address 259 S. Dupont. And in the Woodalls book it says 50 Ft. where US 40 and US 13 divide, it is really right at the actually divide. There is a Walmart just down the road on the right, you could walk there. But when leaving if you are headed east and want to get on I295, just go down to the WalMart, pull into the parking lot, go out toward Wilton (the street that runs in front of WalMart) turn left onto Wilton, go to the light, cross over US 40/US30, you'll be turning left on to US 40E this will take you back up to I295. We camped at Delaware Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Terre Haute KOA, Terre Haute, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice big park and management were very friendly. They delivered to our RV two fresh chocolate chip cookies and a sample of quick mix hash brown. Nice little restaurant on site. They have lots of flavors of ice cream. We don't usually stay at KOA's because we have had bad experience's with them. But there wasn't many choices on I-70 and we were ready to stop. I would recommend this KOA to all. We were there during the week so it was quite. On weekends it does get busy. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.

Kentucky Horse Park Campground, Lexington, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park and a busy place. If you are really interested in horses, this is the place to be. All sights are back-in and they have three dump stations, so no problem. All sites have plenty of room, so have more trees and shade then others. We were just here overnight. Easy to get to; just followed the instructions from Map Quest. We camped at Kentucky Horse Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Flatwoods KOA, Sutton, West Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice KOA . We have had bad experiences with KOAs so usually stay away from them, but traveling on I-79 there were very few RV parks, so gave this a try. You do have to be careful getting there. I used the directions from Map Quest and got there great. When they say behind the Days Hotel they mean just that. Register at the Days Hotel. And there is a buffet after 5 PM at the hotel you can use. The meal is wonderful. We camped at Flatwoods KOA in a Motorhome.
