Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA (formerly Desert Pools RV Resort), Desert Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice and helpful staff. The 3 mineral pools offered different temperatures. The mineral water was very relaxing with no odor. Will definitely return. Open, gravel sites. Easy to navigate with adequate space in roadways which were in good condition. We camped at Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA (formerly Desert Pools RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Colorado Heights Camping Resort, Monument, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Water inconsistent pressure from 0 to dribble. WiFi also inconsistent: rarely good connection. Rental unit we saw had matted and stained carpet, stained furniture, ragged curtains, and the windows didn't work. One very rude workkamper. The hot tub was lukewarm and so cloudy we couldn't see our feet. If we had known then what we know now, we would never had purchased a membership. After a couple of letters to the owners, we have not received a response to address our concerns. We camped at Colorado Heights Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Starlite Classic Campground, Canon City, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

The previous reviewer reported there is no pool. There is a pool. We did not use it as we were very busy with the attractions in the area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The park is pet friendly with a pet park area and kennels. The retro travel trailers with classic cars parked with the trailer are great. The travel trailers can be rented. There are shady areas for tents. Our cellphones provided little service and the antenna did not provide tv. The rate stated is for Passport America. Would stop here again. We camped at Starlite Classic Campground in a Motorhome.
