Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The owner just purchased this park in August and is trying hard to get it fixed up so as to be a very nice park. We enjoyed visiting with him and he told us all the plans he has to make it better. He took us to our site and made sure the electric was good before he left us for the evening. It is a no frills park but I expect that when we visit again it will look much different than it does now. This park doesn't look like much now but they are working hard to make it better since they just purchased it in August. They got rid of the woman that was so rude. Flat level pull through sites. We would stay here again. We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Midway RV Park, Dexter, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The park is kept very clean and neat. Spaces are huge and flat. Staff is very helpful and cut back some tree branches so we wouldn't scratch our coach when we extended our slide. The only downside to this place is it is across the highway from a feedlot so the smell and flies are bad some times of the year. Only had water and electric. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Shadows RV Park, Draper, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

When we arrived they didn't have our reservation but finally were able to give us a space and someone else that was coming in they were able to move as they had a smaller RV. Spaces are pretty tight as are the turns. People in office were nice but had no idea why we weren't on the books. 2 days later they called and asked if we were coming in as the noticed our space was vacant. When I said we had been in the park for 2 days already they realized they had written our name down wrong! We camped at Mountain Shadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Electric only. Parking was on grass. They did have potable water and dump station near by. Sites are on grass and I would be careful if it was wet. We camped at Malheur County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

We have stayed there 3 times this winter and it is a wonderful park, everything is very clean and well kept. Most of the staff are work campers and all we have dealt with are very friendly. The nightly fee through RPI is $15.00 per night plus a $3.00 per night resort fee. We camped at Palm Springs / Joshua Tree KOA (formerly Desert Pools RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Los Angeles / Pomona / Fairplex KOA, Pomona, California

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are really small. You and your neighbor can't both put out your awnings if that's the way you are parked. Didn't use any of the extras as we were there for the RVIA Show at the Fairplex. People in office were nice. We camped at Los Angeles / Pomona / Fairplex KOA in a Motorhome.

Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Coast-to-Coast. It was $3.00 extra for 50 amp which is the $18.00. Bare bones park easy off the freeway but you didn't hear the traffic noise inside. West of the city so you aren't in all the hub-bub but still close enough to enjoy the city. Sites are all dirt but they do have a picnic table. Have a little store in the office with lots of trinkets. We would stay here again when in the area but there is nothing special about the park. We camped at Enchanted Trails RV Park & Trading Post in a Motorhome.

A Country RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is the first park I have given a 10 to. It is awesome and the people in the office are so friendly and helpful. Most sites have a nice grassy yard and the spaces are all concrete. Each has a picnic table. They really keep everything nice. Easy on and off the freeway and while you hear the traffic noise somewhat when you are sitting outside, you can't hear it in your rig. It is a gated park and they have a nice club house you can use along with a store. Great place and we will definitely stay here again. Rate reflects Good Sam discount. We camped at A Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Pointe RV Resort, Canyon Lake, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This rate reflects Coast-to-Coast and does not include electricity. You take your meter reading when you arrive and again when you leave and they figure out what you owe at checkout. Gravel sites. Close to Lake, some sites can see the lake. Some sites are full hookup, others are water and electric but they come around and pump out your black water. Some activities but guess they don;t get much participation so they don;t have too many. Friendly staff. Would stay here again. We camped at Lake Pointe RV Resort in a Motorhome.
