Road in is steep but doable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Utilities worked good except for the Catv hookup. It is mounted low on a board. The connection is on the bottom which makes it even lower. Interior roads are a mix of dirt and gravel and when it rains, which it did, become a little muddy. The exit is a little tricky if someone is exiting from the lowest numbered sites. As most KOA's this is a little overpriced especially as regards to the channel selection on the TV. It is limited and could use more than Fox for news. There is road noise but maybe when the trees fill in it could be reduced but it is still there.

Despite some of the recent reviews we decided to stay here while visiting relatives in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have only owned the park since last fall. It had been for sale for a few years and is a little run down. The utilities we had ( only El and water) worked fine. The water is about a foot below ground so it could be a problem for some. It is overpriced for only those utilities and no TV. There are many permanent RV's so it borders on a trailer park. It will be interesting to check this place out after they have put some time working on it. We would stay here again.

This is a State park. It is really a nice place to stop for a night. Staff is helpful and friendly. We only had water and electric but the site was large enough to stay hooked up and had plenty of room. There is no TV reception to speak of and our site was not good for our sat dish. As mentioned before it is a state park so there are lots of trees which makes it somewhat big rig unfriendly. We have a 36 ft RV so we took it real slow.

We just spent one night traveling through. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a shuttle available to take you to the casino for free. Sites are a little tight but doable. Utilities worked fine. You are on a small concrete pad. One funny thing is they want you to use your credit card and if you want to pay cash they want a 50.00 deposit. We paid by credit card and was told the rate. You pick up your receipt in the AM when leaving. Problem is they don't open until 8 AM. We left shortly after 8 so we stopped to get our receipt. The charge was now 2.50 more than we were told. When questioned about the difference they changed it back. We really don't know if it was a mistake or not, but beware.

Just stopped for one night on way thru. Office was friendly and helpful. Site was a nice long and level pull-thru. Utilities worked fine. The water hookup was a little low but manageable. A little close to I-20 so there is a little road noise but not bad. If in the area would definitely stay again.

Great overnight stop. Large pull-thrus. No Catv but no trees so sat pickup is no problem. Antenna picks up lots of Spanish speaking channels. Utilities worked fine. Be careful with water pressure. Seemed high. A little walk to Camping World next door. Access road is one-way going west parallel to I-10.

We just stopped for one night on our way to Ariz. We have stayed here before and really enjoy this CG. The check in was easy and friendly. We were escorted to our nice large and level pull through. Utilities all worked well. I thought the water pressure was high which is easily adjusted. They had a little cook out the day we were there. We attended and enjoyed it. This would be a great place to stay for a while but there is not much to do in the area. We would definitely stop again

Check in was okay. We were assigned a site that was already taken so we took the next one. Sites are relatively level and utilities worked fine. For what you get it is overpriced. Sites are very close together. The view is nice. Have stayed here before when passing thru area. Would probably stay again.

Beautiful CG. For a State park it is exceptional. Sites are large concrete pads with lots of space between them. We camped in "D" loop which is open year round. They did turn off the water during our stay but we were there to visit our son and his family so we were only there at night. The night fee we paid included an 8 dollar entrance fee for every day. You can buy a state pass for a year but we did not. If during the season you would definitely need reservations. Would definitely stay here again.Shower building also has washer & dryers.

Just spent one night passing through. Not as bad as some of the other KOAs we have stayed at in our travels. There seemed to be a lot more permanent sites in use. There is train noise and a little I-25 noise. Our 30 amp service was a little tough to get to. Water pressure was good. As most KOA are they can be overpriced. Would stay again if in area

Nice stop for one night. Mostly pull-throughs. Most sites wide open but they do have some trees that need to be trimmed. Utilities worked good. Site was level. Some turns could be tight for larger RVs. On-site restaurant was good for supper. Would stay again if in the area.

Great overnight stop. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were assigned a nice pull-through. All utilities worked well. They have gone with satellite for their TV. Small package. It is a satellite friendly park. Easy access from the interstate. Just a short walk to a great Mexican restaurant at the Day's Inn. Would stay again if in the area.

Great overnight park. Easy entry, plenty of pull thrus. All utilities worked and site was level. Great CATV, plenty of stations unlike some previous stops. Would definitely stop again

Sites narrow & close together. Utilities worked fine. This is your typical KOA. Needs a little work. It is one of those parks that has gone to Sat service because they can't handle digital. For the price they need to expand the TV package. It is tough on a Mon night not to have football. It has been on for over 40 years but maybe the owner of the park is not a football fan

We have stayed here before. Entry road is fairly steep but doable. Sites are level gravel. Utilities work fine. Although I think the rate is a little high for what you get, it is close to I-40. There is a little road noise. The exit out can be a little tricky as you might have someone coming in the other direction. Their CATV has changed. They are now a satellite serviced park. That is were the pricing is iffy. There is a limited selection. I think they need a different package, one that might include CNN.
