First of all I must say that I really like this campground. I was escorted to my site by a man named Russ. He was very friendly and directed me to the perfect place that was totally level. However I found out the next day that Russ had directed me to the wrong site and that I needed to move one site over. Well after speaking with a manager in the office I was given a free night stay for my trouble. There are still a lot of golf carts that are driven around and if you have small children you have to really watch them so they won’t be hit by one. I did notice that many of the adults were also drinking alcohol while driving around on them. The pool and lake were very nice and had lots of people using them. The campground has added cable television and wireless internet. The wireless internet uses three towers and I had no problem accessing a signal even though my site was in the last row of sites. All in all this is a nice campground and I would stay here again. We camped at Bethpage Camp Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is an older campground located on a small river. The road in to the campground is North Fork River Road and it is extremely narrow in places. I did manage to pass a school bus on this road with out any real problem, but I was at a wider point in the road. I would recommend going no faster than 25 mph. The campground is mainly seasonal sites however the pull through site we stayed in was very nice. It required the use of some boards to make the camper level but thats why we carry them right? There are a good number of sites right up against the river, but they looked mainly for pop ups and tents. But i think it would be very relaxing listening to the water at night. The pool looked very nice however we did not use it, but there were a lot of people in it. The game room is old with some old video games and pool tables. There is also a basketball court and a volleyball court. If you don't have any equipment with you the campground has stuff for you to use. There was also a horse shoe pit. The bathrooms were fairly clean but old. The showers were old as well and kind of showed it. However there was not really any trash left all over the place. Now for the main office. This was very old and somewhat trashy. There isn't much to choose from in the store and everything seemed very cluttered. When the girl that checked us in went to use the credit card she had to disconnect the phone and run a cord to the credit card machine. There was also a big friendly dog that jumped up to the counter to welcome you to the campground which I thought was very cute. All in all the staff and other campers were friendly. The teenagers were very grown up and pleasant to be around. I would stay here again and for the price of $28 a night you cant beat it. We camped at Riverside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a fairly nice place to stay. We had a pull through site, had no trouble getting into it and the site was fairly level. However when we left, I had a hard time getting out because of the cars that were parked at other sites. There was an employee that was picking up trash and he stopped and helped me pull out of the site with out being asked, and was very helpful. The staff was wonderful and very friendly from check in to check out. We did not use the showers since had our own, however the bathroom was clean when I used it right before we left. This campground is right next to the beach with access to it by using a boardwalk and stairs over the dunes. I did think the beach had a lot of trash on it, mainly from fireworks that people set off every night. The weather here was extremely hot and thunderstorms would pop up rapidly so use caution if you leave the campground: leave your awning in. The staff did come around and let you know there was a storm coming and to put your awning in. My only complaint would be the trikes that they rent out. They are very hard to see even with the bike flags they have on them. And don't expect the children to move even when they are seen. The pool was very nice and clean, and the jacuzzi was clean and very hot. All in all this is a wonderful campground. We camped at Cape Hatteras KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
