Happy Traveler RV Park, Palm Springs, California

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful RV park! The bathrooms are clean and the pool and spa is open all night! It is well managed and most of the spaces are very large and private with tall hedges in between each space. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This is the best RV park for it's close proximity to the Palm Springs strip and all of the entertainment and restaurants. You can walk and be on the strip in 15 minutes or a 2 minute car ride. A+ park. We camped at Happy Traveler RV Park in a Motorhome.

Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park), Garberville, California

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This is as very nice park and we have been traveling the US and Canada for 2 years. It has nice level, clean sites with grass and shade. The pool is well taken care of and the staff is very courteous. They have a golf course and Benbow Inn across the street. We will come back and stay longer next time! Loved it. We camped at Benbow KOA (formerly Benbow RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Jamaica Beach RV Park, Galveston, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The owners at this RV park are very nice people and quite helpful. We had flooded water outside our door due to the rain. Without asking they quickly got a machine to get rid of the small pond we had outside our door. The front sites are ocean view and you can hear the waves crash on the beach. If you do not have a car: it is 26 miles to downtown, which cost us $40 each way by cab. There is no bus. There is a nice store right across the street to get your groceries. The sites are level, gravel and quite large. The weather was cold but on one sunny day we walked along the beach for two hours collecting sea shells. A beautiful place: we would like to return in the spring or fall when the weather is better. Thanks! We camped at Jamaica Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pontchartrain Landing, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have been traveling the US for 3 months now and this is our favorite park so far. They offer a free shuttle service to the French Quarter: very handy. This is the first and only place that has a bar and a very friendly manager/bartender. They also do pizza and wings at the bar or delivered directly to your RV. The pizza is really good. It was too cold to use the pool but the jacuzzi is really nice and always 104 degrees F. We highly recommend this RV park: overall the best. The waterfront sites are more expensive but really large. We camped at Pontchartrain Landing in a Motorhome.
