Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground, Waves, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

I highly recommend Camp Hatteras. We go there every summer. It is a wonderful family campground that has sites on both the ocean and sound side. One has a choice of sunrise or sunset. There are 400 plus paved sites overall with full hookup. If you are looking for Wi-Fi use, it is exceptional. The amenities include an indoor pool and hot tub open all year along with an outdoor and baby pool. in the main building there is a game room, lounge area for relation, TV and eating area if you choose to cook in the kitchen. In the summer there are many planned activities for all ages. If you like sports, there is a tennis court, basketball court, shuffleboard, mini golf and a playground for young children. There are 5 easy accessible bathhouses that are always clean along with 4 easy accessible laundromats. Best of all if you are a beach person the resort offers 1000 feet of beach access that is easy to get to. The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you as best as they can. Looking forward to another vacation this summer at Camp Hatteras. We camped at Camp Hatteras RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice and clean, but would prefer a more pet friendly park. We camped at Sunrise RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
