Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground with a great staff. Was very clean. We were here during the off season and stayed for 21 days on the road near the beach. Has 24 hour security and they are very visible driving by very often. Has a big store, a diner, also a coffee shop on site. Also has propane. Cant wait to return. Remember to bring a firepit or a way to make a fire ring as there are none at the sites. And it is windy near the ocean. With that said all else is was great We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

TripleBrook Family Campground, Blairstown, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Great camp, a very clean park. The seasonal sites were kept very neat. This is a large campground, we're not on top of one another. The owner was very friendly. They have wide roads that were very easy to navigate with my 30' TT. It is gated, has a big store and the Wi-Fi is great. Cannot wait to return! We camped at TripleBrook Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Shady Acres RV & Camping Park, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This park has very nice office staff, friendly on site also. An older park with very tight spots and close to one another, but it's quiet considering an airport is near, and a major highway. We have a 30' TT + our Ford Expedition EL and had no problem backing into a corner spot. The grass was a little wet due to the massive rain they had 2 days prior, but that was not a problem. We would return for short stay. The fellow campers were very nice. We camped at Shady Acres RV & Camping Park in a Travel Trailer.

Florence RV Park (formerly Florence KOA), Florence, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Park seems very nice. Located about 5 minutes off of Route 95. We stayed for only one night. Hostess was very nice. It seems like a nice park with a big playground. The only drawback was you can hear trains, but that's not a major problem for only one night. We were in the middle of park: site D8. We camped at Florence RV Park (formerly Florence KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Anna State Park, Spotsylvania, Virginia

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great State Park. We were the first visitors for 2010 and were very pleased. It's an immaculate park. The Park Ranger was very nice. The only draw back was that it was located about a 1/2 hour from Route 95. We were here for one night, but wished we could have stayed longer!!! We camped at Lake Anna State Park in a Travel Trailer.
