Did not feel safe at this place, had strange people hanging around my RV day and night. We were promised a secure gate a month before we pulled in to the RV park, but that gate was a joke. People who were not paid guests used it as an off leash doggy park, also was the mess they left behind. One of us always stayed with the RV because of all the strange people hanging around that never should have been allowed in. If you have a little doggy you have to be careful here, I would always carry dog spray with me, thats how bad it got here. Some people were actually unhooking the leash of their Pit Bulls and Rottweilers 10 ft in front of my motorhome, crazy. This is supposed to be a RV resort not a dog park but management lets anyone come in so I didnt feel safe here. The site is gravel with a picnic table, if you put your awning down you would almost hit the next RV. People around us worked in town so you were woke up every morning with them at 6:00 am. Best look for another Rv park in this area.

OK campground with lots of city workers that wake you up in the morning. Its the middle of Apr. and they have the water turned off. Lots of trees so if you have satellite TV on roof of your motorhome forget about getting a signal here. Just OK for passing through and thats it.

Very nice resort in the foothills of Alberta. The owners and staff are excellent, the grounds and washrooms are spotless. The sites are large with a lot of space between sites, most sites are in the open so you have a fantastic view. The sites are gravel and you also have a green grass on your site. I give the park 9 out of 10, I would give it 10/10 but there is one problem. The resort has a lot of large dogs and some of the owners of these dogs are forgetting about the leash rule in the resort so if you have little doggy you have to be careful here. We will return.

Picked this RV park because it was adult oriented, only problem every time I looked out the window of my RV I see kids. Another problem here was roaming large dogs that came into the park leaving a mess on your site. Lots of the farming neighbors have barking dogs and let them run at large so not a peaceful place to stay. I would give this place a higher rating if it was not for the dog problem. The place has little amenities, no shower or bathrooms. If you have to drive into Kelowna the traffic is worse than LA.

Kids, kids, kids and noise, noise, noise! Why these campground owners don't have an adult section is beyond me. Can`t rate the pool or hot tub because it was full of kids. They say they have a dog leash rule, but I`ve seen big dogs off leash here. If you have a little doggy, avoid this place. Lots of noise from trains, too; you have to wear ear plugs here. You also have to drive through a bad part of town to get to this campground. It is best to just stay on I-5 and just blast by this place.

Very over crowded, lots of noise from kids. Police had to come and and arrest a bunch of mouthy teens. What a lack of security here. Now I know why I like +55 RV parks. Small sites don't even have room to set up a lawn chair. Bad access to the beach, best to drive your car a mile away. Fire pits are too close to your RV. As soon as I get my RV fixed, I`m out of this place!

Picked this place because it was small dog friendly and had restrictions. While I was there someones very large Great Dane attacked a little doggy, injuring it. If you have a smaller dog avoid this resort. The guy at the gate was not friendly at all, they should put him on yard duty. The place has no store, no restaurant, you have to drive a long way for a restaurant and groceries. What makes this place popular I`ll never know, just another gravel site for the price and you get no picnic table. Maybe its the pool that changes color at night that makes this place so great. People speed through the resort non-stop. Just waiting for my last day here and good riddance to this place.

If you like to hear Harleys and boats revving up all day and night this place is for you. I haven`t slept in one morning since I got here. If you want to use the pool you have to go to the office and ask them to uncover the pool; why don't they just uncover them in the morning, dumb! Another place with park model trailers with kids, right beside an RV site with retired seniors, who would like quiet instead of kids screaming all day. Had to move once because of this.

Another campground that has no propane delivery. I had to disconnect everything and drive 8 miles away to fill my propane tank in my motorhome. Lots of noise from construction and kids, another working campground. At 6 am every morning lots of people start there diesel pick up trucks and harleys bikes. If you like to sleep in the morning better look at another RV resort. The fire pits are useless, to close to RV`s they should just pull them out. Looking forward to leaving this place.

Another park that combines park models next to RV sites. This is the last time I will stay at park like this. The people in park models know each other for years and when you pull up in your RV next to them its like your taking their space away, you say hi to them and they look the other way. This place has very old people here, you have to watch yourself here if your walking or riding a bike, a lot drive like total idiots, and the locals speed way to much in the park. The place is getting dated, need repairs in the showers, pools out of service etc. I wanted to move to a section with RV`s only but told I could not move. I wanted to leave the park and asked if I could get my remaining money back but they have a no refund policy, this place is just out for the money they can get from you. Next time I will stay at the new lazy days RV park in Tucson (no park models).

Lots of trees, had to drive around a few times to get a site that the TV dish could get a signal. My site was not cleaned, had lots of leaves and branches from the trees on the ground. Pool is closed and they still charge full rate, they can get away with this because nothing much open in southern Alberta in October. Lots of traffic noise, to expensive, pass this place by if you can!

When we got to our site it had a foot of snow on it, we had to wait `till someone brought out a tractor to clear our site. The tractor didn't clear all so I had To go back and get a snow shovel and finish the job, I wonder if I should charge them $38/ hr labor for the work. Sites are not level, and muddy. No water hook ups so you had to drive the RV to the water outlet. That's the problem with Calgary RV campgrounds they don't have many, so they can over charge you and give you lousy service.

Just 15 amp power. The site next to me was empty and the locals used it as a road: trucks and ATV`s were going by me at 40mph just 10 ft away. Dogs were running loose and had dog do-do around my site. Glad I am only staying overnight. The second worst campground I ever stayed at. Did not feel safe here.

What an awesome campground. I sit outside and watch the free airshow everyday. This place is my #1 place to RV now. The staff are great, showers clean, pool clean, felt secure, great place to stay. Will return again and again. Thanks Hitching Post RV Park.

Another RV park that is shared with mobile homes. The kids that live here race their cars around here doing 40mph, even though the speed limit is 10mph. You take your life in your hands walking around here. They figure the rules only apply to the RVers that show up. I try and avoid these campgrounds, but sometimes that's all there is in a certain area. The roads are pot hole ridden. Glad I`m moving out tommorow.
