Pat Mayse Lake / Pat Mayse West Campground, Powderly, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a quiet campground. The site I had was not level, but that's because it was close to the water and all of the land runs toward the lake. The employees were are nice and there were picnic tables and fire rings at every site. I graded the park down a bit because the bathrooms could have been cleaner and the sites are a little narrow to back into. We would stay here again. We camped at Pat Mayse Lake / Pat Mayse West Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Tawakoni State Park, Wills Point, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park with lots of trees and shade and level sights with some pull throughs. The park was very clean, the employees very nice and helpful. Every site has a picnic table and fire ring with a flip over grill. They have a bait house and general store in the middle of the park that was not open, would have been nice if it was. We will choose a sight that is on one of the loops instead of the main roads next time. We will definitely be back. We camped at Lake Tawakoni State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
