The rate reflects the Passport America discount. We stayed for 2 nights w/ advance reservations. This is easy on/off I-10, level, concrete pads, all pull-thrus; well maintained. Hotel style bathrooms. Complimentary breakfast: OJ, fresh cooked waffles, bagels, coffee, etc. - just super! Staff was helpful. Would definitely stop here again. Blue Lagoons RV Resort , Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

The rate is based on our stay for 30 days, but we paid $23 for cable TV, had to pay extra for Wi-Fi and electric is $.15/kwh. It adds up. Verizon phone service was very poor. All concrete roads and pads makes for clean camping. Lots of children here for Spring Break week. The private 500' lighted pier is great. We would camp here again. We camped at Blue Lagoons RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Ransom Road RV Park, Aransas Pass, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Price reflects Passport America discount. I asked for a pull-through for a 2 nights stay. He led us to the corner lot facing the entrance which was not suitable for our 37" motorhome, as the patio was several feet to the rear and I had to walk in the grass upon exiting the RV. The bad SMELL we discovered was from the nearby sewer treatment plant. We had to close the windows on a nice, breezy day. I wouldn't use the showers because of no privacy in the dressing area. We camped at Ransom Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shipshewana Campground - South Park, Shipshewana, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Price includes electric and water in a pull through site that was level, with a grassy space. Well kept. We went because internet access was advertised. 15 minutes was free, then you had to pay and it was very poor reception. Man on the desk was an “I only work here” grump. Close to the Amish sites. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Motorhome.

Huron River Valley Resort, Huron, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We had a long, level pull-thru site that had a nice grassy space between our neighbors. This campground was quiet, well kept, scenic, and the new management is enthusiastic and very friendly. The showers were hot, clean and freshly painted. A little off the interstate, but a great stop. We camped at Huron River Valley Resort in a Motorhome.

Whidden Park Campground & Cottages, Antigonish, Nova Scotia

We were parked up on the hill on a level and clean site. This park advertises free Wi-Fi and the signal was very, very poor. Even at the office. We could not get any Wi-Fi reception. The management was very nice. We camped at Whidden Park Campground & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Headquarters Campground (Parks Canada), Fundy National Park, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We didn't make reservations and so we on a "no service" site in our motorhome. It was more suitable for tenting. There were many vacant, nicer sites that never were taken during our 2 night stay. the price for 2 nights was $78.20, no hookups. It included admittance to the "park". It was the biggest rip-off that we've ever had for camping and I would never camp at another National Park in Canada. On the plus side: the showers were fine and free of cost. We camped at Headquarters Campground (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Mohawk Camping, Waterborough, New Brunswick

We used Passport America, but the Canada 15% tax brought it from $16 to $18. The setting is very nice, mostly permanents. The showers/bathrooms were clean but rustic, nothing I would use. The lady manager was very, very nice. A good stop. We camped at Mohawk Camping in a Motorhome.
