Rusty's RV Ranch, Rodeo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $12.00

The welcoming attitude of the owners sets the stage for a great experience. The unisex bathroom is beautiful, well-appointed and spotless. Large, level sights. The wwners are very accommodating, offer lots of helpful local information. This is our third visit to this campground and definitely not the last. We camped at Rusty's RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Boot Hill RV Resort, Alamogordo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Very welcoming, well-run and well-maintained campground. We stayed one night with Passport America and one night with Good Sam, which explains the rate. The owners were very friendly, offering helpful local information (restaurants, activities, etc.) which was right on. Restrooms/showers were clean and luxurious, tastefully appointed. We will come back here if we are in the neighborhood. We camped at Boot Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Carlsbad RV Park and Campground, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The staffing friendliness and responsiveness uneven. Management is shared by two campgrounds and there was some confusion as to where to go when. When dryer malfunction reported, there was no offer of compensation (we did not ask for any, but it is good business to offer). Some staff members very friendly and welcoming, some downright sour and off-putting, enough to make me hesitate to return, even with the Passport America rate that we had. We camped at Carlsbad RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
