Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

This Resort was absolutely beautiful and we loved every minute of our stay! Our gorgeous, large concrete site backed up to a private waterfront deck with tall moss-covered oak trees and palms surrounding the site. Beautiful landscaping throughout the entire resort. A marina and restaurant were also on the grounds. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and Hilton Head activities. The office staff were very nice and gave us a large Welcome Packet upon arrival. We can't wait to return to this wonderful RV Resort! We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Golden Isles Vacation Park, Brunswick, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We chose the Golden Isles RV Park because Woodall rated it with a 4 Star for Facilities. They completely missed the mark on this rating. It had rained and the dirt roads were full of mud and water filled potholes. The sites were very muddy. There were a considerable number of travel trailers that appeared to have permanent residents living in them with broken lawn furniture, junk, and dogs tied up in front of them. The trailer across the street from our site had a person in a loud vehicle drive up approximately every half hour until 1:00 am, slamming car doors and talking loudly. We would rate this RV park with just a 1 Star because it had good cable and internet and Fran's Restaurant on-site served excellent food. We camped at Golden Isles Vacation Park in a Travel Trailer.

Eagle's Roost RV Resort, Lake Park, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay at Eagle's Roost. It was a lovely surrounding with large pull-through concrete sites nestled among beautiful tall oaks with Spanish moss. Some sites even had iron patio furniture. Very nice office staff. Nice gift shop. There was a large flea market next door and outlet shops and restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in a site next to the office which was closer to the highway. There was some highway noise. Next time we would choose a site a bit further back but would certainly return to this lovely RV resort. We camped at Eagle's Roost RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
