Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Lakewood Campground for one week during July 2016. The campground is very nice and well maintained. There are plenty of things for children to do including the pools, waterslides, mini-golf, basketball, corn hole, horseshoes, and a playground. We really enjoyed our trip and would stay here again. We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mt. Pleasant / Charleston KOA, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very nice KOA. Most sites were pull thru. There wasn't a lot of traffic in the campground and it was fairly quiet. The campground was very will maintained. It was only a few miles from the Isle of Palms Beach. We would stay here again. We camped at Mt. Pleasant / Charleston KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

You can park at the Marina which is only a few miles from the campground, and take the water taxi to Charleston. The water taxi cost only $10 per day/per person and you can ride it as much as you like. It is much easier than parking in Charleston.

Warrior Creek COE, Wilkesboro, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This was a nice family oriented campground. The sites were a little tight compared to Bandit's Roost, the neighboring campground. The sites in the RV camping area were mostly shaded. The lake is very nice for boating, fishing, and watersports. The swimming area is a nice size but, could use a little more sand on the beach. Overall, this was a nice park and we would camp here again. We camped at Warrior Creek COE in a Travel Trailer.

Lakewood Camping Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very family oriented park. Our campsite was on Crater Lake, which is a small fishing lake inside the campground. There wasn't a lot of room between us and our neighbors but, they were nice so we didn't have any problems. The campground has lots of activities including swimming, fishing, canoeing, and mini-golf. We enjoyed our stay and are planning another trip very soon. We camped at Lakewood Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
