Grand Canyon / Williams KOA, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Great park to head to the Grand Canyon south rim. It is a KOA park, so you get KOA quality. That being said, we had a good FHU pull thru site that was level with a fire ring and grill. Hook up connections were easy access and worked fine. Cable was not that good with few stations and not very clear. We used our Sat system. DW took a shower in their facility and enjoyed it. Good pressure, plenty of hot water and no charge. Our issue was the rocks the park is graded with. Seemed like lava rock or similar. Our dogs paws were a bit chewed up where he didn't want to go for any walks. We took him to GC national park and he was walking and running around with no issues. Back to the park, and he wanted nothing to do with it. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Motorhome.

About 5 miles + from Williams. They do have a store there with some supplies, but not much else around so get anything needed ahead of time.

Point of Rocks RV Campground, Prescott, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park with good separation between sites on most sites. All gravel/dirt so when dry, it gets dusty, and when it's wet, it gets messy! We were there during a big storm. Messy but dried quick! Sites are fairly level and roomy enough for our toad. We had a nice pull in site, fairly secluded but we did have road noise. No fire other propane fire rings! Yuk! No 50 amps but they are working on it and should be ready very soon. No cable but site had a good clear southern sky. Great friendly office. Restrooms and showers are clean, Laundry area next to office and clean. Directly off main highway with easy access. Tight maneuvering as noted in previous reviews but manageable with our 40'and toad. Very good access to Prescott and Prescott Valley. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Arizona Oasis RV Resort , Ehrenberg, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a site that backed up to the river. We enjoyed this park because it was quiet and comfortable. A bit tight between spaces, especially with slides out on all the rigs around. Site was level with a nice pad. Hookups were clean and maintained. Well placed. Friendly staff, very eager to make your stay a comfortable one. Evening bonfire was a treat and a great group of people. Hosts brought dutch oven treats for all and was delicious. We will definitely stay here again! We camped at Arizona Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Burns RV Park, Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Not the prettiest park you'll pull up to, but don't get discouraged! Great stop over park! Very nice helpful folk, and good working sites. Quiet, safe sites and close to stores for those items you forgot about. Easy access on and off the road. Driving thorough eastern Oregon, there are not many places to stop over, and when the weather gets nasty out there, this park is an oasis to hunker down at. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pismo Sands RV Park, Oceano, California

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Very nice staff and excellent, very clean facilities. We overnighted here based on a Good Sam recommendation and were glad to be a Good Sam member. I recommend this park for an overnight or a stay in the Pismo area. Easy access in an out and throughout the area. Stayed at other parks in the area but will always come back to this one. Best value, safe, and clean. We camped at Pismo Sands RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Sur Campground & Cabins, Big Sur, California

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great little park in the woods. Very nice setting in the pines. Some sites are not level. Previous reviewer is right, beware when it rains as it will be very muddy. Many sites w/ no hookups and many cabins. I can see this place full in the summer time! Very nice staff and very clean facilities. $1 happy hour ice creams at night. Bring everything you need because not many store with much selection in the area. We camped at Big Sur Campground & Cabins in a Motorhome.

Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground, Buellton, California

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

This is an OK park as a stopover but not for any extended stay. The staff was very nice and facilities are nice overall. It just is expensive for what you get. They also told me they off no discounts or are members of anything as they don't need it. Humm: how long will that last? $57 for a pull through over night is just too much. We camped at Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
