Needed a place for stopover travellng to Charleston, pulled in after office closed, took an available spot, it was a lake view in a really nice park. A volunteer stopped by and asked if we needed anything, to let them know. This is a really nice park, peaceful lakeside spaces, would return anytime. Mountain Glen RV Park, Pikeville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Had to find a place quick, after a nearby state park had said "come on, no problem". This is a country park with the nicest people that I have ever met, working at a campground. Asked if there was anything we needed, and offered help with anything. They have a nice game room with TV available. It looks like a new facility and the bathroom/showers were spotless. Would definitely stop again. We camped at Mountain Glen RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Guntersville State Park, Guntersville, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived after a major summer storm and the power was off. The staff was very friendly and said the power company was working on the problem. Power was restored after a couple of hours. It is a nice lakeside campground with nice views and plenty of shoreline. A lot of the campers had boats and bicycles and it was a friendly atmosphere. I plan to return. We camped at Lake Guntersville State Park in a Motorhome.

Wind Creek State Park, Alexander City, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

The weather didn't cooperate, until late in the week, but the campground was excellent. There were several campers that offered help, for set up and any assistance. The camp store was pretty well stocked with whatever one might forget. It was well patrolled by park Police, without intrusion to the campers and kids that were there. Really nice campground We camped at Wind Creek State Park in a Motorhome.
