The Refuge on Roanoke Island, Wanchese, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed at a few campgrounds with our pop-up camper and I have to say Wow!!! We stayed here for the weekend while we were exploring the Outer Banks. It was nice to have The Refuge to come back to each night. The place was very clean and organized. I've never seen such a clean bathhouse ever. The owners were very friendly. We would certainly stay here for our next visit. We camped at The Refuge on Roanoke Island in a Tent Trailer.

Wilderness Presidential Resort, Spotsylvania, Virginia

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We hold a membership at The Wilderness. We typically make a weekend trip here every month. The overall condition of the property is in good shape. The bathhouses, depending on which one you go to, are in good shape and for the most part clean. There are not any TV or internet hook-ups, but this is no problem for us since we prefer to sit back relax and enjoy the peaceful scenery. We camped at Wilderness Presidential Resort in a Tent Trailer.
