Shady Pines RV Park, Texarkana, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park is exceptional. Concrete pads level with a patio and picnic table. We stayed here overnight but would and have stayed several days. Grounds are well maintained. We highly recommend this park. We camped at Shady Pines RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tee Pee Motel & RV Park, Wharton, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night on the way home. We only required a place to park overnight. The sites were grass but ours was very level and we didn't have to unhook. Manager was very helpful and let us park where we wanted. We would not stay for a long period but would again overnight. If you want amenities, this is not the park for you. We camped at Tee Pee Motel & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pea Patch RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills park but is conveniently located right off the strip. Young couple purchased the park in March and have great plans. The sites are gravel and plans are to concrete some of the pads. We parked in a site that was very level close to the pool. There are two restaurants within walking distance. We wouldn't be apposed to staying here again. Might be a little tight for big rigs. The new owners were very friendly and helpful. The pool was very clean and well maintained. We camped at Pea Patch RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Peculiar Park Place RV Park, Peculiar, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Park is always busy so call ahead. We were put in a site with no sewer available. We were given the code to the private baths and there was a dump station. This is about the only park in this area. We camped at Peculiar Park Place RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Walnut Grove RV Park, Merriam, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a no frills park with paved roads & gravel pads. We stayed here because it was close to our kids. This is the one park in the area. If planning on being in the area, make reservations because this park is always full. Would stay here again. We camped at Walnut Grove RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

SeaWind RV Resort, Riviera, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This park is right on the bay and it is very big. We asked for a pull-through and it was more than long enough so we did not have to unhook. We were only staying for the night. The pull-throughs do not have sewer so we had to use the dump. We were also put at the far end of the park which means that unless you unhooked, you were far away from everything, even the showers. No cable TV but antenna reception was excellent as was the Wi-Fi. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at SeaWind RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lone Star Lakes RV Park, New Caney, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice small park. There are a lot of full timers, but this wasn't a problem. The pull-throughs are for the short timers and are very narrow, but nicely paved with picnic tables. Lots of trees and we would probably not stay here for an extended time, but was very pleasant for one night. We camped at Lone Star Lakes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park has everything you would ever want from a pool, playground, miniature golf and a rec. hall. We needed a place the Friday before July 4 holiday and the owners fit us in, which we were truly thankful. New owners here and are extremely friendly and wanting to help. They even have movies on Friday nights. We also stayed here in June and the experience was as enjoyable at this last one. This is the fourth time we have stayed here and will do it again. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Red Barn Rendezvous, Edwardsville, Illinois

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is an excellent little park. Great for an overnight since it is right off the highway. There is a lot of highway noise but this does not bother us since we even like being close to railroad tracks. Owners were very friendly. Office was not open all the time, but that was also no problem for us. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at The Red Barn Rendezvous in a Fifth Wheel.

Elkhart Campground, Elkhart, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here first because we had gotten our RV repaired and had to end up taking it to the factory. It had rained and our site was soft but there had been a lot of rain before that. This is a large park and if you don't like your site, all you have to do is tell them and they will give you another. We liked it enough that we came back for an overnight. We camped at Elkhart Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Elkhart County Fairgrounds, Goshen, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a Heartland Rally. We were put in a grass site and though it rained, our spot was fine and not muddy. F/H were good and office staff very friendly and accommodating. We had to get our RV fixed and had to stay an extra week and stayed in the other area with the gravel sites. Wi-Fi was good and they have storm shelters. We camped at Elkhart County Fairgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.

Western Star RV Ranch, Liberal, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great little park. Very friendly and every site was $25. Liked the way you chose your own spot when you pulled in. The train is across the street and runs regularly but this was not bothersome to us. We would give it a 10 if there had been cable TV, since we could only get about 3 channels, but we had satellite. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Western Star RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.
