We've over nighted here several times. We never really liked the park but the choices in Tallahassee are slim. This time Tallahassee RV was full so we tried Big Oak on Hwy. 27 north of I-10. It was a much nicer park with much friendlier staff. We won't stay at this park again. Read the other reviews for more particulars.

Nice, well-maintained park. The management needs to go to "charm school" but the Workampers are GREAT. Pool and spa are very clean. Not much grass. Reason they charge $5.00 res. fee is because State Park (across street) charges $8.00 res. fee. Suggest you call and ask if they have space, if so don't make res. Big rig friendly sites and access. We camped with 40' MH, Jeep and 20' trailer all at site with plenty of room.

The management of this park are not honest people nor are they friendly. An unpleasant experience. I will visit Silverton again but NOT this CG. Lots of dogs and dog droppings. Hot tub still has same water as noted in previous post. They have satellite WI-FI that sometimes works.
