Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very tight space wise, roads are narrow. Suppose to be one way, but cars and golf carts go both ways. The golf carts are everywhere; they are driven like there are no rules of the road. It is a very dangerous park to walk around in. Carts drive across campsites; security seems to do nothing about it. Yet, at the pool I have never heard such rude lifeguards and so many whistles. It has a nice pool area, but with the huge amount of sites it is very crowded all the time. We will not return. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Tampa East RV Resort, Dover, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Rate based on a monthly stay. The park is well shaded but the trees are very dirty and you need to wash your vehicle before you pull in your slides. Most sites are dirt and grass that could be muddy I would think we but did not have much rain. The three pools tend to all be taken over by the French in the winter. Sites in the newer section are large. Noise from the highway is terrible 24 hrs a day and there is a sewage structure near the newer part. The odor of disinfectant is bad if you are within a block. Washrooms are old but clean. The ones near the road have a code but the interior ones do not and people from the outside come in and use them. Laundry is adequate but busy. Due to the noise I would not stay here again. We camped at Tampa East RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Wales RV and Campsite, Lake Wales, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is an older park that advertises a heated indoor pool, which is very musty and cold. It has a large number of permanents who think they own the park, cut through your lot like you have a sidewalk. The owners are not willing to do anything about it.

The sites are smallest I have ever seen. The roads are cramped and difficult to maneuver. I had to get my neighbor to move his truck so I could get out.

Suppose to stay 6 months left after 3. Washrooms are clean but very old and in need of work. I would not recommend this park We camped at Lake Wales RV and Campsite in a Motorhome.

River Valley RV Park, Langham, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I would have rated it a 10, but there were no on-site people. We could see the WiFi but we could not determine a password. A lovely small Park. Was very pleased. We camped at River Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wapiti Campground (Parks Canada), Jasper National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

First stayed in electrical parking lot: a paved lot with lines. Had nice washroom and showers. Then had an interior site with very large sites, fire ring, picnic table. But interior roads range from fair to poor. The interior rooms are old and have no showers. No water or sewer at the site. Park is very picturesque, we would return. We camped at Wapiti Campground (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

William Switzer Prov Park - Jarvis Lake Campground, Hinton, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Park is not as scenic as the Internet page indicates. The road is bad getting here. The flies were the worst I have ever seen. We set up and stayed one hour. Could not even sit outside this was mid afternoon. Had to leave. They would not even give partial refund: we had paid for two days. Due to the bad road, and the flies I would not recommend. We camped at William Switzer Prov Park - Jarvis Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very large RV park. Very picturesque on the Straits of Mackinaw. The sites range from tiny to decent size and although a very confusing layout, fairly easy to get around. The problem is the restrooms. There is only one for the whole park, and this park is enormous. It can be a 20 minute walk to the restroom. The exact same problem exists for garbage. There are no garbage cans, except at the exit, so you have a 20 minute walk for that. The washroom is very small for a camp ground with hundreds of sites. We would not stay again. We camped at Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping in a Motorhome.

San Francisco RV Resort, Pacifica, California

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are ocean view not ocean front you are 150 ft above the ocean with no access the sites are so small you cannot sit outside I have a bigger spot in the place I store the motorhome. They were paving when we were here no warning before we arrived or discount just put up with the noise. The staff were friendly the park was reasonably clean but there are numerous really old units that it appears families are living in. We would not stay here again We camped at San Francisco RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Anaheim RV Village, Anaheim, California

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Staff is very friendly. It's very pet friendly and accommodating. This park is older and the pool and playground could use updating, but the roads are good and although the sites are paved, they're too small. It is within walking distance to Disney. If we return, we would stay again. We camped at Anaheim RV Village in a Motorhome.

Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA), Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

It is a parking lot on the strip. The roads are good, the sites are paved as is the whole campground, but it is on the strip. It is convenient and if I go to Vegas again, this is where I would stay. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

I would rate it a 10 but the sites are a little too small for a 10. It is clean, the people are friendly and there's lots of activities. Also a lovely clubhouse and pool. We camped at Gold Canyon Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Dust bowl park. They have horses so the flies are bad. The people were friendly and the sites are small. My biggest complaint was they filled my propane tank up as we left, and did not close the overflow. When I sent them two e-mails about it, they would not respond. Due to that, I would not go back. We camped at Van Horn RV Park (formerly Van Horn KOA) in a Motorhome.

Davis Mountains State Park, Fort Davis, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The only reason I did not give it a 10 is that it does not have a pool. Has paved roads and the sites are full hookup with cable TV. Even had Showtime! There's abundant wildlife but be careful to lock up all your food. Wi-Fi is available: you have to drive up the hill to the Inn but it works in your car. Your cell will not work except at the top of the mountain. Even the restaurant was excellent. I wish this park was closer to home as it's one of our favorites. We camped at Davis Mountains State Park in a Motorhome.

Mission RV Park, El Paso, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the worst. It is literally less than 20 feet from I-10. It is noisy and the sites are tiny. They advertise an indoor pool but it is closed due to damage a while back. No one is fixing it, but they have not reduced their rates. I would not stay here again. I would rather park at the Flying J. We camped at Mission RV Park in a Motorhome.
