Yogi Bear's Jellystone at Gloucester Point , Hayes, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

Sites need gravel, roads in the park need repair, staff not too friendly. The pool, water slide, and the jumping pillow is nice for the kids. Also, the hay rides and boat docks were good. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone at Gloucester Point in a Motorhome.

Cozy Acres Campground, Powhatan, Virginia

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Clean campground, nice club house, bathrooms were not too clean, store was good, employees unorganized but friendly. Credit card was accepted for deposit, but not for final payment, if you were with a camp group. Only cash or checks were accepted. Have never heard of that by a campground before. Good thing we had some cash on us. We camped at Cozy Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Bethpage Camp Resort, Urbanna, Virginia

Date of Stay: August, 2008 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

I really like this campground, but their security has went down hill. Golfs Carts, bikes, scooters, electric (small kids) scooters, skate boards, large PUs all on the main road at the same time. It was a a mess their security should have been there. Allowing the little Kids riding their electric bikes or scooters on the main road should cease before a terrible accident occurs. People coming in or going out had a time dodging people, golf carts, bikes and etc. Beware they have skunks (approx. 4) that roam around the camp sites at night, even while your around your fire. Even though they are a little pricey I will probably go again next summer. We camped at Bethpage Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

American Heritage RV Park, Williamsburg, Virginia

Do not understand the above comments. We found the staff very friendly and helpful in directions to the surrounding area. Their grounds were clean and neat. The bathroom was especially clean. No loud noise, very peaceful CG. We stayed there October 2005, and will go back. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hatteras Sands Resort, Hatteras, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Staff friendly, clean bathrooms, camp sites kept well, peaceful. Was able to let the grandkids ride their bikes without fear that they would get run over by cars, golf carts, and other bikers. The pool was really clean. The canals surrounding the campground was neat. The beaches were nearby. The only down fall is their web site over rates the campground, but that advertisement. We camped at Hatteras Sands Resort in a Motorhome.
