Magnolia RV Park and Campground, Kinards, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Magnolia overnight on our way home. We were very happy with the price as a Passport America member and they honored it with no problems. The owner was very nice. We were escorted to our site and found it to be comfortable. Although we didn't use it, the pool seemed very clean and nice. For a basic campground, it was very well kept.

Note: Upon returning home, we found that we had left our very expensive surge protector connected to the electric pole. I called and they sent someone to check. Lo and behold, it was still there. The ownermtold me he would mail it back and I could just send him a check to reimburse him for the postage. That honesty and kindness is something I will remember.

I would recommend Magnolia to anyone. We camped at Magnolia RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Up the Creek RV Camp, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This campground has spoiled us for any others. The sites were spacious and very well maintained. Lots of grass and trees. Concrete pads and picnic tables were complemented by free standing fireplaces or outdoor kitchens in some sites. All we heard were the crickets and the creek behind us. The absence of a bathhouse or pool didn't bother us. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. We'll be back soon! We camped at Up the Creek RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Whispering River Resort (formerly Misty River Cabins & RV Resort), Walland, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Misty River is set next to the River and is in a quiet, peaceful setting. The owners are friendly and easy to get along with. Sites are spacious and each one has a picnic table and fire ring. The only thing missing is a concrete pad. Next to the pool is a great little bbq stand, that I can't wait to try this spring. Bathhouse is incredible! We camped at Whispering River Resort (formerly Misty River Cabins & RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.
