After the rain, all mud. Sites are close and neighbors sewer connection is right by picnic table. No working Wi-Fi. Constant highway noise. Good dog park. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Craig KOA (formerly Craig Campground), Craig, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Way over priced! Yet, only game in town. Level sites. Highway noise. Not a bad campground at all. Just was much too expensive for what was available. We camped at Craig KOA (formerly Craig Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Swenson's Valley View RV Park, Minot, North Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

For $35 a night we got to stay on dirt next to a neighbor who was so close we could not put out our awning. Had to park next to 2 huge dump trucks. There was trash/glass everywhere. Most every site was occupied by an oil worker. It was also State Fair week and nothing else was available in Minot. If you can help it, do not go to this campground. We camped at Swenson's Valley View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

River Place Campground & Dockage, Duluth, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

What this c/g lacks in amenities, it makes up for in hospitality. We were the only transients there and were made to feel like family. The site was large, but only had 30amps. There is a boat launch and a small laundry - one machine each. Coffee and baked goods every morning. Good fishing. We camped at River Place Campground & Dockage in a Fifth Wheel.

South Forty Campground, Petersburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

It is hard to rate a park in the winter when everything is shut down and the place is devoid of people. The staff was great and our site was just fine. Lots of space to walk dogs. We only stayed one night, so cannot add anything else. We camped at South Forty Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Older park with very narrow short sites. Poor WiFi. Staff helpful with directions when GPS took us to a road that was closed. Mostly permanent rigs, but well kept. Paved roads, but narrow. We camped at Atlanta South RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is more of a trailer park with some transient sites. Owner was helpful in backing us in and giving directions needed for morning travel. Small area for dog walking. Cash only. We camped at Fieldridge Acres in a Fifth Wheel.
