Enjoyed stay at the park very much. Level campsite, good family park, very nice people that work here. We were here in a fifth wheel trailer and were able to park in our site with ease because we arrived early enough to do a pull thru. We will stay at this campground again. The pool was very clean and warm. Dog friendly.

The asphalt in the park is weathered and beginning to collapse in many of the sites. We were unable to put enough blocks to get level in the spot near the pedestal and sewer connections so we pulled forward enough to get enough blocks (3) to be level. The site is very narrow and we were glad we didn't have neighbors because our awning would have interfered with them. This park needs to upgrade to the newer RV sizes. The wifi is pay as you go. Extra vehicles are extra. On the good side, it is close enough to the ocean you can easily walk to the beach. It was quiet and clean. We probably won't stay there again. We were in a fifth wheel.

Very happy with our decision to stay here. Sites are large and easy to get our 40 foot fifth wheel into. The desk is on winter hours so the desk is not manned a lot of the time. All off hour business is handled in the casino office. Slight road noise but not bad. We will stay here again when we head back to California.

Ryndon RV Park

Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay:

There is a high percentage of long term residents here. They work all different hours so vehicles are in and out all night. The train noise is minor. I do like this park though. The owners are very nice and are very helpful. We would stay here again on our way through Nevada. The parks in Elko are priced out of reason for what you get, especially the one that thinks it is a luxury resort.

This is not a bad park but it needs to be updated. The young man at the desk was very helpful and nice. Since the park has a high percentage of long term residents I figured they probably will not do improvements to the shared electric posts. The highway noise is tolerable but access is difficult without instructions.

This is a very nice, simple campground. Gravel roads and clean sites. Very nice helpful people work here. It is well maintained and in the pines. Sites are easy to get into, (we have a 40 foot 5ver). Small with easy access to the highway. We would stay here again.

This is a nice park. Well maintained but small sites. We have a large fifth wheel and had a hard time getting into the site without running through the very soft site. We made a mess but were told not to worry about it and they would fix it when things dried a little. They were very nice and understanding. It is a very steep drop into the park and a hard pull when leaving. We would probably stay here again if we were in the area because of the friendly staff.

The rate cited is a prorated monthly rate. We stayed here for a month and are very impressed with the service and people that run this park. Guests are treated very well, and sites are well maintained. The owners are doing a great deal of work to improve an already very nice park. The town of Silverton is beautiful and has a lot to offer. The state capitol is a short drive from here where we enjoyed the farmers markets. We stayed here in a 40 foot rig and had plenty of room with the small grass yard on the side. Picnic table was supplied. We will stay here again.

Nice campground. Very friendly staff, made us feel welcome. We didn't have any trouble finding the park and were able to get fuel close by. It had been raining a lot in the area so the sites were a little mushy, but well taken care of. If we pass through here we will keep this place in mind for an overnighter.

We always stay at this campground when we go through the area. They take very good care of their customers. The sites are very nice and ours was level. The cable brings in lots of channels. The free breakfast is good but the breakfast burritos which are extra are outstanding. The gentleman that helped us to our site was very helpful. This must be a family owned and operated campground and it shows in the pride that the people here. We highly recommend this park.

This was a great stopover as we move down the road. The sites are large enough for our 40 foot 5ver fit and they were perfect because we didn't have to disconnect. The office help was very nice and helpful. The dog walk was a little messy because a few irresponsible pet owners weren't as smart as their pets. There were not many TV channels which in our case wasn't important. I would stay here again if we were in the area.

Nice park and very nice people work here. We were able to get our 37 foot fifth wheel into the pull through without any problem. We looked at all of the parks in the area and found this one to be the best for the money. We will stay here again when in town.

This RV park is great. The museum is very interesting and gives you a feel for what it was like to live in the area many years ago. The Stillwell family still runs the park and love to talk about the history of the area. The mornings and evenings in the desert are beautiful. We were the only RV in the park and loved the isolation. It was very quiet and the stars at night were fantastic. The park is close to Big Bend National Park and is convenient in that respect. My sister recommended that we stay here. We will stay here again.

The owners of this campground made us feel welcome and comfortable. From the time we called for availability to the time we registered and set up we were treated very well. We use an aircard so we don't know if the WiFi worked. We ate at the cook shack and it was fantastic, (especially breakfast). We will stay here again when we pass through the area.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our campsite was a little dirty with papers, a dead bird and various other items. It was easy to get in and out of the campsites. The trailers that were there long term seemed to be fairly well maintained.
