Pine Cone Resort, Freehold, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This was our 2nd visit here. We weren't crazy about it the first time and even less so this time. The entry road is dirt with lots of large holes. It would be in your best interest to obey the 5 mph signs. The interior roads are no better. The pool was very clean but showed a few signs of neglect. The store was also good and pretty well stocked. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The sites were small and very sandy, it was virtually impossible to keep sand out of the camper. The bathrooms and showers were clean but in need of updating. All in all it's not a bad place but I doubt if we'll be staying here again. We camped at Pine Cone Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Just finishing up our second season here as seasonal campers. In season there is some kind of entertainment every weekend. Breakfast every Saturday and Sunday. Friendly and hard working owner and staff. Highly recommend this place. We are very happy here. We camped at Catskill Adventure Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Candy Hill Campground, Winchester, Virginia

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Only stayed here one night but was pleasantly surprised. The office staff was very friendly and helpful as was the gentleman who led us to our site. The campground roads were a little tight. Some of the sites were also smallish, but our pull thru site was nice and level, a good size, and all the hookups were conveniently placed and working. The grounds were very well groomed and the camp store was full of just about anything you could need and priced reasonably too. We would certainly return here. We camped at Candy Hill Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Hardeeville RV, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We just spent 8 nights here and enjoyed it thoroughly. Very convenient to Savannah and to Hilton Head, Parris Island, Tybee island, and Beaufort. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The CG is well maintained, clean, and quiet, but very basic. No recreational facilities and no restrooms or showers. A laundry room is available. Choose a site that is not too close to the road, the traffic noise in the morning is a bit distracting. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River, Gardiner, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

A beautiful, well maintained park. Activities galore, especially for kids. Snack bar near the pools, mini golf, horseshoes, kayak rental, and more. Well stocked store, helpful staff, and friendly owners. Only negative comment I can make is, it's expensive. Having an overnight guest will cost you $20! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Fifth Wheel.
