Very nice Oregon state park. Parking pads are mostly level. Excellent separation between sites with lots of trees and shrubs. Although we had rain one day, the site stayed relatively dry with no standing water. I would recommend that you choose your site carefully, as many are at a right angle to the roadway making backing up a challenge. We had to go the wrong way on the access road in order to get settled in our site. It was no big deal, just something to be aware of. Many of the sites on the outside of the A and D loops are at a much better angle for backing in to. Many of those sites also have water, sewer and electric, while the interior sites are water and electric only. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The last time I reviewed this park was over four years ago, so I thought an update was warranted. In spite of the fee increase to $28.00 per night, the park is in need of attention. Sites are still adequate, but the landscaping has suffered do to neglect. Lots of dead grass, ice plant, etc. The campground hosts are friendly and helpful. Also, you now have to pay a $7.00 fee to use the dump station even if you are a registered camper.

We have been camping here for over 25 years and have never been disappointed. We stay here twice a year and always enjoy ourselves.

This is a great park in an excellent location. Sites are paved and level. Good 50 amp service and water pressure. Utility hookups are easy to use and conveniently located. No cable tv, but that's ok with us because we don't watch tv when we're on the road. Park is located right on the Avenue of the Giants and is convenient to Ferndale, Eureka and the redwod parks. We will be back in the spring.

Nightly rate reflects disabled pass discount. We stay here several times a year and are never disappointed. Easy access to campsites. Restrooms and showers are clean and well stocked. Camp host is friendly and helpful. The park rangers are very active, driving through several times daily. I would have rated the park higher, but the main access road is in need of extensive repairs. Lots of nice people and an all around good time.

After reading a couple of recent negative reviews, I was concerned because we have camped here for over 20 years and have always enjoyed ourselves. I am happy to say that we were not disappointed. Check in was easy, the staff very friendly and helpful. The site was clean, all utilities worked perfectly and we had a excellent time. The nightly rate of $42.00 was for 50 amp service and reflects the Good Sam discount. If you ask, they will deliver firewood to your site for no charge. Although we did not use the restrooms and showers, they were clean and in good repair. They just opened a remodeled laundry room which is very nice. The park was nearly full all 10 days we were here and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We will definitely camp here again.

Nightly fee reflects 50% disabled rate. Has level, paved sites with a separate pad for tow vehicle or "dinghy". We had an ocean view site which really exposes you to the wind; but gives a nice sunset view. Close to the town of Half Moon Bay, Pigeon Point Lighthouse, and Pacifica. Park was pretty busy, in spite of the pricey nightly rate. We will camp here again, but probably would not if paying the full rate.

Site fee reflects a disabled pass rate. This was our first time in the Pismo area and we were very pleased with the campground. We stayed in the front section which features long, level, paved, pull through sites with water and electric hook-ups. This is a very nice park, close to the beach and local attractions. We drove South to Solvang on two different days and had a very enjoyable trip. We will be back in September.

Daily site fee reflects disabled rate. One of our favorite parks to stay at. Has spacious, paved mostly level sites, some with an ocean view. We had a hook-up site (w/e); water pressure and power were both good.

One of our favorite parks. We stay here four or five times a year. Has level, paved sites, and several pull-throughs with bay views. If you want to walk on the beach, it's a short drive over to Doran County Park and your camping receipt gives you free admittance. Camp hosts are very friendly and do a good job keeping the campground tidy.
