This campground has a great location on Lake Taneycomo. The docks are very nice, and they both have a new fish cleaning area that is great. The campground sites could be more level and better maintained. The bath house was clean. The store was stocked okay. The only real complaint is that for what they charge: the camp sites could be much nicer, more level and the friendliness is rather lacking for a Sams RV campground. I also requested at the time of our reservation, room to pull out our awning on the side of our camper. When we arrived we were assigned a site that had a large tree in the way, so we were unable to use the awning. The campground was very empty too as the season is just starting. They could have put us in another available site that was much larger and would have had room for the awning too. The people running it just seemed tired and didn't want to go out of their way or smile or be friendly. We were here for three different days and it was the same every day.

Great campground with many lakefront sites to choose from. Good hosts that keep down the trouble should there be any. On the quiet side of the lake. Wish the two beach areas had sand instead of the small rock type beach that they have. Hard to get reservations, here so book early.
