Lovely location and park. Booked in without a reservation and were assured that we were very lucky, as the place was filling up fast and we were given a spot that someone had just vacated. It was right next to the sewer with prevailing winds. This late in the season did not materialize into Grand Central Station with about three quarters full! Our inconsiderate next door neighbors must have been workers in the area. 5:00 AM motors running, doors slamming and motor cycles idling got my attention. Thanks! Also, it should be mandatory for pet owners to pick up the droppings of their pet on the side roads and trails. People seemed to think that it was okay for their dogs to be turned loose to just go where nature calls and then leave.

We were in an empty site with empty sites on either side which made lots of room for pop-outs. The reason for that is the spots must have been landscaped in the days before slides. Paid for a week and after a few days the bomb-shell! Open burning! Yes, you cannot smoke in any building in California but any guest of questionable intelligence can hold other guests hostage inside their units with acrid smoke seeping in through doors, windows, vents and pulled in with fans. This also applies to charcoal fires. Scratch this park off our list! Not worth the price for a slum park.

Lovely park! Lovely trains! The 3:10, the 4:10, the 5:10, etc. Check-in seemed flawless until we were shown to our site. It was occupied. We were then put on a corner that left no room for our long truck. The park was not full so this spot was not all that was left. Had to make sure we left enough room for the neighbor to park which eventually got territorial. Very friendly Canadians. Not too sure if we would return due to the charcoal fires. Breathing became an option.
