Meadows RV Park, Miles City, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Fairly new campground. No shade. The campground only had 10 RVs when we arrived, and the desk clerk put us in a spot that had not been mowed when so many others were open. We did not asked to be moved as this was an overnight stop. Gravel roads and gravel pull-throughs. Good power, but the water is located WAY at the rear of the pull through. This is our 2nd time here, and think we will try another campground if traveling through the area again. We camped at Meadows RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Roughrider Campground, Minot, North Dakota

This campground and the city of Minot was devastated by a flood in 2011. The campground has reopened and has added sites. Power and water are good. It is all gravel and the new sites are close together. We would stay again. We camped at Roughrider Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tower Campground, Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Part of the RV park is an old trailer park that is being converted to RV spots. We are in the part that is being converted. The site we are in is mostly dirt due to construction of the site. Water is hard and rusty. Use a filter. We put our softener on too as we will be here two weeks. The owners and workampers are trying hard to make it nice. It will be awhile, but when done could be very nice. Lots of road noise as we are next to I-29. We would not stay here again in the near future, but may after all the work is done. We camped at Tower Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Oregon Motel 8 & RV Park, Klamath Falls, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

I used Good Sam Internet site to find a place in Klamath Falls. Man, was that a mistake. This place is a dump. Narrow sites, muddy, scary long term neighbors. Best advice: STAY AWAY!!!! Good Sam will hear from me as well. They have lost my trust in providing RV parks that are good. We camped at Oregon Motel 8 & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Laramie KOA, Laramie, Wyoming

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We called the campground and asked if they had full hookup sites. We were told yes, 50 Amp service, water, and sewer. When we arrived, a big sign on the desk said "Water hookup not available." I commented we were told it was a full hook up site. The manager (owner) asked if I was calling him a liar. I said we were told it was a full hook up site. He said if I was not happy to leave, but they had water at the front of the building to fill the tank. Horrible customer service, bad parking spots. Will never recommend this KOA. We camped at Laramie KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
