Crystal Isles Resort, Crystal River, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here through Coast to Coast. Sites are large, some need work, some are great. Ours had lots of room, with pond in rear and space on each side. This is an older park but the restrooms are well kept and quite clean. I would stay here again as the amenities are nice and the area is very interesting. Nice pool, one tennis court in good shape, hot tub not working. We camped at Crystal Isles Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We were only there for one night but everything looked good. Sites well groomed, level, nice pad and very well maintained. Easy on off highway, staff made it easy for us in the site they assigned so we could move in and out easily. Would stay here again. We camped at Seminole Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fiesta Key RV Resort, Long Key, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This park could be great but it seems the management is not paying attention to upkeep and maintenance. Restrooms and showers need upgrade but adequate. Very nice pool but in need of routine cleaning. Deck had trash around, lounges were dirty, pool needed cleaning and some repair, same with the hot tub. Decent cable, WiFi was for fee but I had no trouble getting signal with my hot spot. Great marina for boaters. This is an older park that is in need of attention but I found it adequate for my needs. The only real down side was the location. I would stay here again. BTW if it rains have boots available, drainage is not great. We camped at Fiesta Key RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Knights Key RV Resort and Marina, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff, sites were level, grass, pad for picnic table. Restrooms and showers need upgrade. Can't say they were dirty, just need attention. Location was great. Tiki bar was good and prices were reasonable. Great place if you are fishing. Now the bad news. Offensive odor most of the time, lots of road noise, no TV reception, no pool. I thought the $70/night was a bit high for what they offer. I would stay here again but think there are other places nicer for same or less money. We camped at Knights Key RV Resort and Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Gettysburg Battlefield Resort (Travel Resorts of America), Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed as R.O.D. members. Generally nice. Roads gravel but well maintained, site gravel and level but just big enough. We had no sewer but no problem as they had a dump station. Restrooms and showers were barely adequate for the number of guests. Found them to be reasonably clean but not spotless. Wi-Fi for fee, did not use. Seemed to be a great family campground, lots of families with kids, still quiet in the evening. Close to the Battlefield. Pool was not heated so did not use but was very nice. We will definitely stay here again. 7 rating was due to bathroom condition and availability. We camped at Gettysburg Battlefield Resort (Travel Resorts of America) in a Fifth Wheel.

Old park, but the owner tries to keep it clean. Fixtures in bath and showers need updating, but again, looked maintained. Water pressure was spotty but OK. Good spot for a one night stand. Would return. We camped at Cloverdale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Archview RV Resort & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

If you are into OHV's this is the place for you. If not find another park. Basically a gravel parking lot with 4 wheelers everywhere. The one plus is that it was right across from the road into Canyonland NP. In my opinion it was way overpriced for what it offered. Would avoid if I had other choices. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Sandcreek RV Park and Campground, Torrey, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very tight. Located 15 miles from Capitol Reef NP. Laundry not available when we arrived as the owner was using it. For the price, it worked for us as we spent all of our time in the national park. Owners need to clean up the junk around and give it a bit of sprucing up. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Sandcreek RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Watchman Campground (NPS Campground), Zion National Park, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park. The sites were well set up with areas for your tent or whatever and an area for table, fire pit etc. Loved the shuttle, and hiking was terrific. I hope to be able to return again. We had a great time. Would have given a 10 if showers were available. We camped at Watchman Campground (NPS Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

McArthur's Temple View RV Resort, St George, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

We found this park to be lacking for the price. Pull through sites are on one end in a gravel area where all other sites have cement pads. Back in sites were very tight. Trash was overflowing in the dumpster. The pool was cold so the children were using the hot tub as a kiddie pool. The three washing machines were out of order. There was out of date or incorrect information on the park information sheet. I would chose a different park for our next visit. We camped at McArthur's Temple View RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Outstanding in every way. One of the best parks we have ever been in. Would stay again. The price reflects an internet special, and for the price it was a great find. The only thing it lacked was cable, but the over the air TV was very good. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Canyon Camper Village, Tusayan, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The office ladies were very nice and helped me out of a jamb when I had a problem. Other than that this park is very over rated. I know we are here early in the season but the park was not well maintained. Sites not level and very close together. It seems they depend on overflow from the National Park and take advantage of folks with no other place to stay. I guess I can't blame them but this is about $20 a night too expensive for what they have. The sorry thing is that it could be a very nice park with some TLC. I would not stay here again. We camped at Grand Canyon Camper Village in a Fifth Wheel.
