Twin Falls Gorge Territorial Park, Enterprise, Northwest Territories

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff and large sites. There were very few campers here either time we stayed here. Unbelievable free Wi-Fi at the office and parking lot. 15 amp electric and no dump. Bring your own water or use a bucket only, no hose connection. Great waterfall hike from the campground. Would camp here again. We camped at Twin Falls Gorge Territorial Park in a Motorhome.

Country Lane RV Park (Seasonal Only), Okotoks, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Way over priced! More interested in selling spaces than RV'ers. The pool was closed in July! When do they think people want to swim? Even the trash dumpsers were hard to find. Moved to George Lane Park in High River, much better. Would never stay here again. We camped at Country Lane RV Park (Seasonal Only) in a Motorhome.

Fred Henne Territorial Park, Yellowknife, Northwest Territories

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great hiking trail in the campground. We were able to fill water tanks and dump in camp. Other territory parks have WiFi, but this one does not. Friendly helpful staff. The day use people drive through with their boats at a fast speed. Not many choices in this part of the country, but overall a nice park. We camped at Fred Henne Territorial Park in a Motorhome.

Internet was listed in Woodalls for this park, but when we got here it was an extra charge. Has a power washer for cars and rigs at $1.00 a minute. Has lots of trees and shade. Laundry was $2.00 to wash. We camped at Camp Tamarack RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Park cafe is closed but the bathrooms and laundry are new. It's a bit dusty and the internet is very slow. We were able to use our Direct TV dish. We camped at Travel America RV Park in a Motorhome.

Country Lane RV Park (Seasonal Only), Okotoks, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Paved level sites, but not worth $45. Close to the interstate. The pool was closed in July! They are selling lots and have many long term residents. Will look for a less expensive park next time. We camped at Country Lane RV Park (Seasonal Only) in a Motorhome.

LoW-Hi RV Ranch, Deming, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We were here off season with Passport America. Very nice people and nice desert gardens. It is a little out of the way but close enough to town for Wal-Mart and dining out. We were disappointed that they had canceled Wi-Fi and no cable or pool. Sites were gravel but large and level. They are a meeting site for LOW "loners on wheels". Nice park for an overnight stop. We camped at LoW-Hi RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The summer is here so the park is almost empty. We stayed here with Passport America and the book says it cost $17.50. But the very nice man helping us said" the fees were $20.48". We showed him our 2010 book and he told us to check in with the office tomorrow but we will be gone too early. Very nice concrete pads and clubhouse. A large laundry and pool tables and shuffleboard. Everything is well maintained except the price. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Adventure Bound Camping Resort , Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is suppose to be a Passport America park, but when we checked in the price was $25 and so was the regular summer rate! When I questioned it, the clerk told me "Passport America is up to 50% off" and it is 50% off the high season rate". No where does passport say that! We felt totally ripped off and would never go back here. Lots of RV's being stored everywhere and a tiny pool. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Treetops RV Resort, Arlington, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We were in site 138, which is level but some are not. The park has so many trees, there is a lot of shade. The pool is lovely and the staff very helpful. Some extended stays but none look run down. There is a camp store but surrounded by every store you would want. The WiFi was free for 24 hours and then not sure what the charge. We stayed here with Passport America and would stay here again. Reservations would be a good idea, very full park! We camped at Treetops RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Riverside Estates RV Park, Covington, Georgia

Overall Rating:

There is no better description than depressing! Office is so smoke filled, it is hard to breathe. The few sites with campers in them are filled with extended stay, working people. There is no WiFi and the pool was locked up. We stayed 2 nights so we could tour Atlanta. We would never camp here again. We camped at Riverside Estates RV Park in a Motorhome.

Biltmore RV Park, Savannah, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Shady spots with dirt, no concrete pad. Wi-fi available only when office is open. Passport America is not good Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We stayed here so we would be close to WW Williams, who was doing some repair work on our coach. They were great ,but the park was not a deal with no pool and no good wi-fi. We would not stay here again. We camped at Biltmore RV Park in a Motorhome.
