Fort McAllister State Park, Richmond Hill, Georgia

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed the boating, fishing, and kayaking available at this campground. The campsites are spacious and easy to pull in and out of. Unfortunatly we did not have enough power to run the air condition at the same time as the blowdryer and other electrical items without blowing a fuse. Also, the campground staff kept placing tickets on our car for not having a vehicle parking decal although there was clearly one on the windshield. We camped at Fort McAllister State Park in a Travel Trailer.

James Island County Park, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This has been our favorite campground so far! There is so much to do. We went to the water park, climbed the rock wall, and rode bikes all over the park. There are plenty of family activities, like making tie die t-shirts, trading silly bands, and pancake breakfasts. The campground is close to downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. The campsites and facilities were nice. We'll definitely return to this campground! We camped at James Island County Park in a Travel Trailer.

River's End Campground & RV Park, Tybee Island, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

River's End Campground & RV Park was a wonderful place to stay. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and the pool was nice, too. Camp sites are spacious and easy to get into. The beach is just a short walk from the campground. We rode bikes around Tybee Island, and enjoyed dinner at several delicious restaurants, such as The Crab Shack and Fannie's. We will definitely be headed back to River's End and maybe for an entire month next time! I wish this campground was larger, because it books up fast on weekends and holidays. We camped at River's End Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Williston Crossings RV Resort, Williston, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is beautiful! The staff were friendly and accommodated us when we arrived after hours. The facilities were clean and everything looked new. The roads are paved and street lights gave us plenty of light. I felt very safe with the gate and fenced in area. Unfortunately, many of the buildings and the pool were not finished yet. I believe the bank took over this campground, but it is still a nice place to stay if you don't need a pool. The only downside was the loud bass coming from a car or bar nearby - not inside the campground. I heard this booming on both nights of our stay, and I had trouble falling asleep. Hopefully that was just a "two time" problem. I would camp here again. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
