Port A RV Resort, Port Aransas, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

The owners and staff were very friendly, helpful, and work hard to keep the park clean and looking nice. The park has cement drives and pad sites, with good grass coverage between sites. Nice pool and club house, the rest rooms are kept very clean as well as the laundry rooms. The only down thing are the site utilities are to close to the pad which can make it a bit tricky working to park the RV with slides. Great park and will be staying here in the winter. We camped at Port A RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park with cement drive and pad sites that are wide enough to have a patio the size of your parking pad. The manager and owner were very nice and helpful at check-in and check-out. The park is maintained extremely well with very nice club house. The winter Texans were all very nice and helpful. We will be again. We camped in a motorhome. Blue Lagoons RV Resort , Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We have been stay here since 1988 and was called Watersedge RV. New owners took over in March 2012 and are working hard to get the park back into tiptop shape. With new management in place, they are working on customer relations, very friendly and helpful, making improvements to the parks beauty and starting soon to improve other aspects of the park. Fun is returning once again along with the parks long time customers. You do have to pay for Wi-Fi connection but they are working on better deal for this. The park does need an additional set of restroom and showers, and more parking. We enjoyed our selves and will return this winter. We camped at Blue Lagoons RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Havasu Falls RV Resort, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Our two day stay was outstanding. This is a first class park and staff. We used the laundry facilities and they were outstanding. The roads and campsites are excellent, and the park is well maintained. Many sites have a view of the lake from atop of the hill. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Havasu Falls RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Admiralty RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here many times before and after our long term trips (months of traveling), I called wanting to come in just for the day to unload and clean our RV (about 5-6 hours of stay) and was told we could not come in until after 12 noon. I asked for an exception for 10am since we only wanted a few hours, I was told then by a woman who had a hard time with English and understanding the requests told me they had no openings until after 12-noon. I asked if the park was full and she did not answer. I know the park is not full and how unfriendly a staff. I guess I will not being staying here anymore since this is the way the locals are treated and it is not like they are losing out on any money. We camped at Admiralty RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The new owners have been working on upgrading the park and done a very nice job of it. They have a few more things to fix like re-leveling some of the sites and adding more machines to the laundry room. Overall a very nice park to stay at and we enjoyed our time here. We camped at Craters of the Moon / Arco KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $52.00

They don't get any better than this. We have stayed here two years ago and like the park even better this time (hard to believe but true). As always the staff was friendly and helpful, everything was spotless, and the park just expanded with new sites. We stayed in one of the new sites and loved it. We will come back here again and recommend this park as we have in the past. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground, Fort Pierce, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

What a resort! There is nothing to say but good things about this park. It's well maintained and nicely landscaped; staff was very friendly; streets are wide; campsites are very wide; has wide and deep concrete pads that have wonderful landscaping and there are security gates at the entrance and exits. While it is close to the Interstate and truck stops, it was very quiet. We will go out of our way to stay here again. We camped at Treasure Coast RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Jolly Roger Travel Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2010 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

There is nothing to write home about with this park. Very pricey for what you get. This park has markings of an old trailer park. With some work, this could be a very nice park. They are working on some improvements with the common areas down by the water. The laundry room needs some TLC quickly. We will not stay here again unless they make some major improvements. We camped at Jolly Roger Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Virginian Lodge RV Resort, Jackson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This park is as close as you can find, to calling it a trailer trash park. This was the worse and most expensive park we stayed at in our 3 month and 12,000 mile trip. You know you are in for a ride when you register at a little homemade storage shed looking building. The roads were a mess as well as your campsite area. Water stood everywhere, and the park was not kept up that well. If it was not for the fact this is the only park in Jackson, it would not be in business. There were a lot of coaches who's owners thought they had landed in a paradise, but I promise you it is far from it. To use the WiFi internet, you have to go to the hotel lobby. Stay at the Grand Tetons RV park, if you can get reservations. We camped at The Virginian Lodge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
