Excellent camping cabins: in the past we have always camped here in tents, but since the remodeling they have one-room camping cabins now so we decided to try these. I really enjoyed these and they were very convenient for myself (being a single mother of three children). They were located right across from the bathrooms which were very helpful. I just wish they had been more shady. They were great and well kept (of course they were new)! I have always enjoyed this campground, as well as the kids, the best part being the pool. The only exception is I wish they would close the pool to the public. IT gets VERY crowded during the summer and the campers CANNOT enjoy it because of this. Honestly, this is the reason we have shyed away from this park. Other than this, a great place for fishing, pedal boating, and swimming. Great playgrounds for the kids. Great trails too!

Nice shady site, has great large sites, spacious, and away from other neighbors. Some sites are close and within walking distance to beach. Ours was near a bathhouse. Has a nice nature center. Has a very nice, private beach. Like the fact that this campground is gated. Has a nice, shady playground, and nice campstore.

Nice, shady sites, some waterfront, love the fact that all of them are in the shade. They are large, private. However, there are not very many bathhouses and to substitute they put outhouses that are not kept clean near sites. The bathhouses were also not the cleanest either. Beach was ok for the kids, the water was not the cleanest for swimming but the kids enjoyed it. Has a nice playground. Good camping for kids. Had good swimming area across the road but didn't have a good swimming area in the campground however, needed a better one.

This is a membership park but we tried it out for free as part of a promotion. I only wish it wasn't a membership park because I really enjoyed it. The pools were great. There were three, a kiddie pool, a adult pool and a regular pool. They were well kept. They also had a beach for swimming as well in the river/sound. My kids enjoyed this because they could swim and fish at the same time. The tent sites were slim being this campground was designed for bigger RV's but they were shady and nice. This campground had several other ponds for fishing also. We also rented a golf cart which was nice to drive around the trails that was designed for them, we loved it! The staff was friendly as well.

Beautiful park: it's well kept but there's nothing for the kids to do other than a playground. They got bored, needed more. Not as family friendly as other campgrounds.

Great campground: has friendly staff, great pool, excellent restrooms, is family run, has great planned activities, and a small, family feel. The train does sound some, but it's not bad. It's shady, clean, well kept.
