Spider Rock Campground, Chinle, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Great place! Short on amenities, though they do have Wi-Fi, potable water and porta-poties. You can make reservations here, which is a plus. The owner is a wonderful guy. The resident dog, Boy, is also great, and a wonderful guide on the trail which starts in the park and leads to the canyon and some ruins. Nice fairly secluded spots and a great place to stay! We camped at Spider Rock Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Mesa Verde RV Resort, Mancos, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $32.00

This camp was great! The new owners re-leveled the spots so it required very little to settle in. There are several types of hookups from water and electric, to include sewer as well, and premium spots on a hill with a little bit of a view. The bathrooms and showers were recently redone and re-tiled, and were very clean. There's a cute little pond. We saw everything from big rigs to tents. Dog friendly and family friendly. Only 1/2 mile from Mesa Verde Park. The staff was all really friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this place. We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
