I have been coming to this RV park for over three years now and each time it is better than the last. I didn't feel the need to leave yet another review about this place until I saw a post from the same time frame we were there this year and I feel the need to add a little information. THEY HAD EXISTING PROBLEMS before they got here and are trying to blame it on the RV park. It's just a shame that people come to places like this to be slanderous and not leave behind the facts.

We stayed here two nights with only one being the plan. But it was so quiet and peaceful and the pool was beautiful so we decided to stay two nights. With out Passport America discount it was only $15.00 a night. Mr.Z just purchased the park a few months ago and has made some great improvements with more to come. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to park and not too far away from the highway this is a great place. We have marked it to be a regular stop when heading out that way.

We stayed here last year because we had to (our motor blew up). We spent 4 months here then, and although I have read the comments others have left, as you can see we have returned to this park, by choice this time! The owner is the greatest. He will do everything possible to make your stay here a good one. The pool this year was open on May 1st and crystal clear. The lake is NOT covered in a layer of scum as others have said: they are lily pads and the fishing is awesome! If you are looking for a concrete campground with a gift shop, this place is not for you. But if you are looking for great company, good fishing and all around relaxation, you'd be sorry not to make this place a regular stop. And as far as the "long term" residents, well if you find them unsociable that will be your fault. From staying here last year for such a long time we got to know all of them and they are great people!

This was one of the first campgrounds we stayed at on our way home from our summer trip last year. The main part of the park is much nicer than the part that we stayed in, but we requested to be in the "boondocks" as we have 4 small dogs that travel with us and prefer to be off and away from people for their pleasure and ours. We were given a site that was so out and away that for two days we didn't see a soul! How perfect is that? And we had a stocked lake right out the bedroom window with free paddle boats for you to use. If you have children they also have really nice, wooden swing set gyms located throughout the park.

We have made this another of our must stop in places along the way. Although the highway noise is quite loud, the park itself is so nice that you can over look the noise if you stay on the highway side. We have been here twice now and will continue to go back as an over night kind of place. Our last trip here I didn't get to do any fishing, but watched a "long term" resident catch a really large cat fish.
