This is a very nice park. All paved and concrete pads. Level with some pull throughs, but most back ins. Some traffic noise, but you can live with it. Staff friendly. Rate reflects a GS discount. We camped at Cowboy RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is a typical KOA. Water pressure not very good. Electric marginal. Some staff friendly. Others not. Make sure you pay for only the nights you stay, as there is a no refund policy. Nice laundry. Caution: This campground is in Central city, NOT Denver. We camped at Denver West / Central City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park about 3 miles off the freeway. It's right on the Rio Grande River. Has a boat dock, and nice swimming pool. If you back up to the embankment, the sewer connections are part way up the slope, so be aware. We camped at Chimney Park RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Travelers World RV Resort, San Antonio, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

If you want to be in town and close to the attractions stay at this park. Right outside the park is the bus stop to take you to downtown (a 15-20 minute ride.) While not in the best part of town, we felt safe in the park. Has shade trees, was nicely kept up, and the staff was friendly. We camped at Travelers World RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
