Beautiful park! We ended up here from a terrible experience from another park. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price is approximate. This is the only reason I didn't give them a 10. I think it may be a little too high. We had one of the best spots there. We were on the lake and had a nice view of Stone Mountain. You pay more for sites on the lake. The camp sites are roomy, the pool was nice and you can purchase tickets to the activities over at Stone Mountain for a very reasonable price, about $28 a person. Overall, very peaceful and quiet. Would love to return again for about a week of relaxation.

We picked this RV campground based on the website pictures and amenities. We have two teenagers and were excited about the different things to do. Well... the pool was closed (which wasn't on the website nor were we told when we talked to someone on the phone) and the RV park is a dive. I saw the reviews from 2009 and I guess a lot has changed since then. There is definitely more than just "a few" people who live at the site. Most of them were old campers or travel trailers, very close together on the pull thru sites. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my camper unattended. We left the next morning and stayed at Stone Mountain the remaining rest of the weekend (good move). The zip line was $65 for the basic (per person)!! That includes 3 zip lines and about 7 bridges you cross. Way too expensive for what you get and that didn't include the screaming eagle. The river is muddy and we were told after we arrived that they didn't recommend any of the water activities because it had flooded in Sept. 2009 and there were a lot of jagged rocks and "other things" we probably didn't want to be near. The side of the park that has the clubhouse and cabins is very nice, but the RV park... not so much. Also, the guy over the RV park is in his 20's and more concerned with getting you off his hands then being helpful. An awful way to start a vacation. I would never recommend this RV park and would not return.
