Best RV park in Redding. Beautiful setting. Large, flat sites. Large picnic tables. Excellent ownership, management and groundskeeping. Frontage on Sacramento River. Lots of trees. Large clean bathrooms. We camped at JGW RV Park in a Motorhome.

Redding RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Rather low end, but ok for a night or two. The slots are very narrow and on a sloping hill with no room for picnic tables or sitting outside. Its located next to the interstate and a main road with plenty of traffic noise and sirens. They have a sewer problem or something, because the toilets invariably are stopped up. Yuk. The whole place is rather run down, with full timers having trash and debris accumulated around their spaces. Surely management could do something about this. Nice pool. Nice employees. Nice price. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I'm a full time RVer so I always stay at the better parks for extended periods. The park was very nice. The slots have very ample space on either side. Water, electric and good and Wi-Fi is about 98%--about excellent. Very friendly, well maintained; prices are a little steep but Santa Fe in general is. Sometimes they rent their outdoor patio for parties, so you might want to avoid spots close to this area. Bath/shower house is 10+, the best you can find. Great Santa Fe sunsets and sun rises. The only negatives is that the park roads and slots are all gravel and the location is several miles south of town. But these are not biggies. After checking out a couple of other parks in town, I found this was the best. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Springville/Provo KOA , Springville, Utah

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I am a full time RVer so I stay at the better parks for long stretches. East Bay is a 10 all the way. Clean, well maintained, showers are all private rooms. Interior paved roads and slots, nice grounds, everything in good working order. Gorgeous view of 12,000' Mt. Timpanogos greets you every day. The park is open year round and reasonably priced, so it's good for skiers. It's about a 45 min. drive to Park City and an hour to Alta/Snowbird. I checked out other parks clear up to Salt Lake and this was the best. Great wilderness hiking nearby. But the town lacks night life. We camped at Springville/Provo KOA in a Motorhome.
