Gravel, dusty sites. Traffic noise from I-70. Not so bad with AC unit running. We had a shady spot. Front desk personnel helpful. We camped at Salina KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Deer Creek Valley RV Park, Topeka, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Management efficient, campground clean, concrete pads. Laundry expensive: $1.75/load. No trees around RV sites, sunny and hot. No picnic tables. Low hum of traffic noise from I-70, not bad, have been in much worse. Have stayed here twice and would stay again. Rate based on weekly stay. We camped at Deer Creek Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lakeside RV Park, Davenport, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

The boarded office is still here. There is a lack of maintenance, it was run down, definitely muddy. The manager was very accommodating. The capacity for barking dogs would be incredible. And only a FEW were making noise. Mostly permanent residences. Definitely would not return. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

K and R RV park, Wichita, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

On the positive side, the manager was very friendly and accommodating. On the negative: very noisy between the traffic, train, train whistle, dog barking and loud music from club across the street (going till 2 AM): was not conducive to a good night sleep. Park had a lot of permanent residences in run down: very old rigs. Paid for 2 days stayed only 1.? We camped at K and R RV park in a Motorhome.

Cherry Hill Mobile Home Park, Tulsa, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

BEWARE of this park's refund policy. We had an emergency situation come up and could not get a partial refund: it is managements "policy" not to refund. Who is management: the person I was talking to. Our site was not quiet, heard the freeway noise and the mobile home residents playing LOUD music in their cars. Yes, to grassy areas, pool not kept up, and internet is available only in the laundry room. We camped at Cherry Hill Mobile Home Park in a Travel Trailer.
