Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Adequate sized lots with full hookups. Strong WiFi. Large, screened pool and excellent restaurant. Staff was friendly. Only complaint - grass had not been cut. Will be back. We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Las Cruces KOA, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Pricey, but typical KOA. Clean and efficient. Restrooms and showers were spotless. Sites are average but adequate. Satellite reception was good. Can become very windy quickly with strong gusts. Only complaint is the WiFi. It is very slow and difficult to connect. Bandwidth is limited, so if you rely on WiFi, beware. One final caveat, Las Cruces is boring, with very limited activities, and hot. We would return, if the situation warranted it. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Avila / Pismo Beach KOA, San Luis Obispo, California

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

The park is convenient to Cal poly, which I sent the reason for our visit. Very close to scenic venues. My only complaint is the size of the sites. Extremely narrow and difficult to back in to. Neighbors slides inches from mine and sanitary connections are in your front door. Additional charges for visitors. WiFi weak and slow. Lots are clean as well as the restrooms. Great for a short or overnight stay. We camped at Avila / Pismo Beach KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Cunningham RV Park, Spartanburg, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

It must be stated that the restrooms, playground and swimming pool were immaculate. End of the good news. We hooked up to 50 amp (paid extra), but the EMS only showed 30 amps. Couldn't get the refrigerator to operate along with the ACs. Several fulltimers came forward and warned us of improper wiring and many problems with the electric. The owner willingly moved us to another site with a double 30 amp breaker, but he wasn't sure if it would work. It did power the coach, but we kept an eye on everything and checked out as early as possible the next day. We heard it used to be a KOA, but lost it's franchise for whatever reason. Won't go back. We camped at Cunningham RV Park in a Motorhome.
