Found about this CG via their booth at the York, PA RV show and upon further research and word of mouth, decided to book. Wow, what a find! This CG is an easy and scenic drive located in central PA. It is a two-tiered park with riverfront sites with much shade but less space between sites and a further trek to the pool, or the upper/newer sites with less shade but more space between sites and close proximity to the pool (we could play Jarts and ladder golf without fear of hitting camper or vehicle). Check-in was easy and courteous with super-friendly staff who escorted you to your site and you were allowed to set up and then check in later, nice. Sites were gravel, level with well located hook-ups, no sewer smells and good cable TV. Did not use the Wi-Fi. Roads were gravel but bike friendly and there were mulch paths to the many amenities (bounce pillow, horseshoes, volleyball, pedal carts, mini-golf, shuffleboard and nice pool). Campers can purchase a wrist band that gives unlimited use of the chargeable amenities. These paths also led to the clean and well stocked and ventilated bathhouse and laundry. The office/store was reasonably priced and clean. The grounds were well groomed and manicured with nice flowers and pet friendly with many pet waste disposals handy. Permanent sites are well maintained. Nearby amenities include a market with gas less than 1 mile from the CG that is open late and Sunday. The market has hand dipped ice cream (nicely priced too) and typical market and DIY sundries. The Port Royal Speedway is very close and the CG offers discount tickets and shuttle service. The engine roar can be heard from the CG on Saturday nights. Passing trains in the distance add to the ambiance of the CG. The mountains along the river and the farm-like setting also add to the ambiance of this CG. Did I mention the staff was super nice? Overall, this is a CG with owners who care and who are constantly making upgrades to this CG, making it a wonderful stay. My family can't wait for our next stay.

Stayed here numerous times before and have been pleased every time. This last time in particular, I had trouble with my hot water tank regulator right around 4:00 pm as it was getting dark. I approached the CGs front desk for help, and the owner himself and his assistant located a part from one of the permanent sights and took the time to replace the part for me even though they had a busy schedule. They ended up finishing the job in the dark during one of their Halloween weekends. They completed the job with a smile and no charge for the part or their time! In regards to the park itself, my sites have always been level, bathrooms always clean, and the kids have always been entertained. Store/registration area is small, stocked OK, but is a newer facility and is nice with coffee and Slush Puppies, as well as ice cream for the kids. Reservations have never been a problem. The fishing pond is a pleasurable walk down to the bottom portion of the campground, but the wooded surroundings make it worth it, very beautiful and the fishing is good. The pool is well maintained and very visible from most upper/pull-thru sites. The playground is also visible, equipment is older but well maintained. CATV is good, good water pressure, and staff has always been top notch. Very easy to get to off the PA turnpike, which leads me to my only two drawbacks, some noise from turnpike (noise from gun club is only sporadic), and some of the seasonal sites could be better maintained. This is a CG that never quite seems to be fully booked ,thus making it a great CG for a last minute getaway; the exception being on their Halloween weekends, which book rapidly because the CG and staff do exceptional WEs complete with a haunted house, haunted hayride, trick-or-treat between sites, DJs, site decorating, and other planned activities. Overall, a great CG.

Stayed at this CG for 4 days the end of this June and it was a wonderful experience. I experienced none of the rudeness with respect to the CG owners and staff, everyone was very accommodating. This CG has a wonderful and warm pool with many water slides and attractions to keep all ages satisfied in the water. Special attractions include a bouncing pillow (large ground mounted, air filled trampoline) and pedal carts, along with a fishing pond and some planned activities. We stayed on a buddy site in the 200 section and this site was level, large, wooded and easily accessible to all activities and the office/store; which by the way, was absolutely the best I have ever seen. Large, very well stocked and appointed beautifully and the staff was very helpful, not terribly pricey either. As is policy with all Yogi CGs, they escort you to your site and they deliver firewood albeit with a large enough order. We brought our own wood to the CG and never had a problem. Water pressure could have been better, but hey, the very modern and clean restroom in our section even had air conditioning. Nice, since it was in the 90's all 4 days. As for the negative reviews concerning the bath house closest to the pool/office, again I did not witness this and found this restroom to be clean. Quiet hours were adhered to as patrols were routine, and the CG speed limit is very strictly enforced because of all the kids there for the water park. Overall park appearance was very nice: grass mowed, roads maintained, buildings maintained, no litter and only a few permanent sites. Not many golf carts either. They even pick up your trash bags on site and have on-site recycling with pick up. (another Yogi policy) This CG is a bit pricey, but we really never saw our kids they were so entertained (ages 7 to 16 between 3 families)so the entertainment value alone is worth it. This is top notch facility and we will definitely be going back.

Nice but busy CG in a nice part of PA. By busy I mean a ton of golf carts! This park is not very large area wise so in my opinion, golf carts are really not needed. The office/store/pool/mini golf and activities center are centrally located and are easily accessible by walking only a short distance. This CG has two pools, the newer pool is kid oriented with waterfalls, etc, and the older, original pool is adults only, which is nice. The sites are very level and include a concrete pad for under you awning. Some of the hookups were located strangely and I needed to use extensions for electric, cable and sewer. Many activities for the kids and please take advantage of the activity bracelet special which includes all activities for one price. The staff has always been pleasant, rest rooms are small, need to be upgraded, but were clean enough for a busy campground. The entrance/exit road is very narrow and one lane only. We camp here virtually every July 4th W/E and it is always very hot, and there is not much shade at this CG unless you have sites by the river. Except for the golf cart issues; overall, a very nice campground.

Absolutely love this CG! We have made this CG part of our yearly vacations for the past 7 years with no plans to change. We camp here with 2 to 3 other families and our children range in age from 7 to 16 yrs. Believe me, keeping teenagers occupied is a difficult endeavor, but my teens can't wait for this yearly trip. The sites we usually reserve are in the J section and are level, large, clean and within a 2-5 minute walk to the indoor pool, bath house, tennis courts, and lake. The back of our campers border large rock formations that make for endless exploring. This CG has paved roads for great biking, cable TV and an outdoor pool (not heated) with a great diving area. It also has nice shuffleboard and basketball courts in addition to squash courts and a horseshoe area, huge lighted ball diamond, and organized activities. This is a large CG and it is used heavily, so the security is a necessity. Office personal have always been friendly, have never encountered a problem with reservations. The office area has a nicely stocked store and a nice ice cream window that at times can get very busy. The young employees who man the window can get very overwhelmed at times, but have never seemed rude or rushed. The bath houses (and there are many) have always been clean and well stocked; the same for the laundry areas. Not fancy or elegant, just clean and efficient. Indoor pool (with sauna and hot tubs that take quarters, the only negative) area is clean and manually monitored for safety; the even have an adult only swim time. In response to other reviewers complaints about the amount of kids, this is a family oriented campground within one hour of NYC and NJ, what are you expecting? For the most part, the kids and adults are respectful and know when to get off the road when a unit/vehicle is trying to pass. Being this close to major metro areas, this Pocono CG is still very bucolic, yet still a CG resort. Quiet hours are adhered to with nightly Jeep patrols, fire rings are emptied at your request, water pressure is good, no sewer smells, excellent cable TV, excellent lake fishing and swimming (with a sand beach). This is a top notch resort.

Excellent CG with top notch owners who are top notch nice. The owners of this CG are constantly improving things and have a great idea what campers desire. the sites (especially the pull throughs) are level, clean and large. The store/office is new and well stocked, and the pool, showers/bath houses are spotless. The sites by the lake are beautiful. There is even a puppy park and a new mini golf is under construction. The fire rings even have stone facades surrounding them. Roads are gravel but are adequate for biking. Overall, a great campground. Docked one star for no cable TV and literally being in the "middle of nowhere," not necessarily a bad thing.
