As on previous visits the utilities are good, Wi-Fi worked well, interior roads and concrete sites are easy to maneuver and AT&T phone/data signal is available in the area. The grounds, restrooms and laundry are clean and attractive. No reservations are accepted and the price, even with a Good Sam discount, is considerably higher than in previous years.

This state park is very well laid out with paved interior roads and sites that are easy to maneuver. The park is well groomed and has extremely clean and attractive restrooms. Our stay during the week was quiet and peaceful. Utilities worked well. AT&T signal is available in the area. We would be happy to stay here again.

Once you wind your way along narrow residential roads and a short stretch of very bumpy private drive you find a very nice RV park. Interior roads and sites are concrete. The layout is easy to maneuver and takes advantage of the location directly on the Dickinson Bayou. The utilities, including Wi-Fi , are very good. AT&T phone and data signals are available in the area. Office, bathrooms, laundry, and pool are well kept. The office closes at 2 PM on the weekends but on site staff is friendly and available to help. The cost stated is the weekly rate. We would stay here again.

Date of Stay:

Proximity to the interstate makes this park a fairly easy stopover. Interior roads are gravel, sites are mostly weedy gravel separated by lush grass and some mature trees, spacing is close but angled pull-throughs make maneuvering very manageable. Basic utilities worked well. AT&T phone and data service were good in the area. WiFi was a little slow; adequate except for administrator blocked sites (crossword puzzles not allowed). The pool, office and clubhouse areas were clean and neat but mid-afternoon office closing on the weekend also closes the clubhouse. The rate includes an Escapees discount.

This park is easy to access from the interstate and easy to maneuver through. Interior roads and sites are level gravel. Vegetation within the park is mainly around the pool, office and laundry areas but everything is very neat and well maintained. Utilities, including wi-fi, worked well. AT&T phone and data service is available in the area. We were escorted to our site by the cheerful office staff. The price reflects a cash discount. We would be happy to stay here again.

The friendly owners work to make your stay here comfortable. Basic utilities worked well but the wi-fi was slow and erratic. AT&T phone service is generally unavailable in the park but the office may be able to let you hook in through their network. Gravel sites were fairly level and shaded. The combination bathroom/shower area was clean. The rate reflects a Passport America discount. There are extra charges for 50 amp electric and for credit card payments. The park is a good base for exploring the area.

This park offers long level pull-through gravel sites. Mature trees offer shade at some sites. Basic utilities and wi-fi worked well. AT&T phone and data signals were available in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. Occasional train whistles can be heard. The park is easy to access from the highway making it very good for short stops. The rate reflects a Good Sam discount. We would be happy to stay here again.

This excellent park was friendly, attractive, very well maintained and a good value. Trees, lawns and flower beds were nicely groomed; public areas (pool, clubhouse, laundry, restrooms and patios) were well-furnished and very clean. The Interior roads and sites are paved and level. The pull-through sites have relatively long narrow pads with hook-ups at the end so connections may be a bit of a stretch. Utilities, including wi-fi, were good. Traffic noises and sirens from the nearby police and fire departments were common. We would be happy to stay here again.

The park consists of a paved interior loop road with gravel sites. The perimeter sites were primarily taken up by permanent residents. Many of the interior sites were unoccupied so could be treated as pull-throughs for ease of access. Our site was sloped from side to side but boasted a concrete patio area and broken picnic table. Utilities were generally good though water pressure was a bit low. The pool, restrooms, clubhouse and laundry were very clean and nicely maintained. The wi-fi worked well and AT&T coverage in the area was very good.

This park offers great value, reliable utilities and easy parking on spacious gravel sites. It is wonderfully quiet at night though the day may include shooting, helicopter and airplane noises. The facility is quite new and kept meticulously clean and neat. There is no shade, no wi-fi at sites, no shower facilities and no activities other than shooting. AT&T phone and data service are fairly good in the area. We look forward to staying here again.

This small and friendly park is mostly a place to stop on the way. It is directly on a busy highway so traffic noise is very noticeable. Interior roads and sites are contiguous level gravel; very easy to maneuver unless you accidently enter via the exit at the north end of the park. Restrooms and showers are spacious, clean and attractive. Wi-fi was only adequate but other utilities were good. AT&T phone and data signals were good in the area. We would be happy to stay here again.

This park has good utilities, including very good wi-fi. Sites are mildly sloped gravel; interior roads are paved with easily adequate maneuvering room. A scattering of mature trees provide some shade though the landscaping is primarily broad swaths of gravel. There is some traffic noise but it was not intrusive. Restrooms were clean. The casino and lodge provide a pool and restaurants. AT&T phone and data service are completely absent in the area. We would stop here again.

This park is easy to get to and to maneuver through. Interior roads and sites are paved though our site was sloped from side to side with the need for two blocks to level. Space between sites is fairly generous, consisting of a grassy area and a gravel area with picnic table and sometimes a tree. Grounds and facilities are neatly kept; laundry, restrooms, lounge and pool were neat and clean. Utilities worked very well and AT&T voice and data signals were strong in the area.

Date of Stay:

This friendly park has level gravel sites, attractive landscaping, an incredible exercise room, clean laundry/restrooms and sea lions barking in the distance. The water pressure was low but adequate, electric worked well, cable television was excellent, the wifi was slow and inconsistent but AT&T phone and data worked well in the area. The road south of the park remains very rough so approaching from the north (Patrick’s Point Drive) is important. The drive into the park is slightly narrow but room to maneuver within the park was good. The cost reflects the weekly rate. We would stay here again.

The helpful and friendly host/owner lives on site at this neatly maintained park. Sites are level gravel, interior roads are paved and mature trees offer shade. Most sites are close together and offer little privacy but site 25 is a gem; a very long pull-through that opens onto a small field with blackberry bushes and dog walking. Utilities, including wifi, were good, though the cable signal was somewhat scratchy. AT&T phone and data are good in the area. Traffic noise was apparent but not obtrusive. A very good selection of rv parts are on hand and items ordered through the office arrived very promptly. The rate is based on a week’s stay. We would be very happy to stay here again.
