This was our first visit to this campground and we chose it based on the reviews here. Excellent campground. The sites up in the 1500's are huge. A little hilly up there, but sites are level and on gravel. The main road going up to those sites was recently repaved and not a problem at all. If you want a camping experience in the woods, this is the campground. The sites on the lower level however, are smaller, less shady and buggy near the fishing lake. Bathrooms, lake, pool and spa well maintained and very clean. Staff very friendly. Great location. Shady maple buffet and supermarket just up the road. Both places excellent. We looked at three other campgrounds just north of Spring Gulch, but none compared. We liked the spacious sites here. Also a bit more expensive, but I'd pay extra for the prime site and privacy. We plan to return in the beginning of November and even considering a seasonal site for next year. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Travel Trailer.
