Campgrounds of the South, Gulfport, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff and decently level concrete pull-thru sites make park worth the effort for an overnighter despite it being in an off the path weird location. Just down the road from a Cracker Barrel Restaurant. Certainly well worth the money compared to other parks in the area. We camped at Campgrounds of the South in a Fifth Wheel.

Lagoons RV Resort, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Located in a nice neighborhood of homes, the entrance makes a nice appearance. Overall appearance is of a nice RV Resort experience. BUT, the sites are exceptionally small ad tight. We were in what was called a pull-through, yet it was anything but. It was impossible to drive through the site. In fact, any attempt a backing our 38ft 5th wheel into the site was futile. The park used a tractor to shoehorn our RV into our site with barely any room for the slides. Parking for the truck was nearly non-existent. If you have a VERY small trailer or a medium sized motorhome, this park will make a good base. Larger RVs need to look elsewhere. We won't return. We camped at Lagoons RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines), Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

An OK park for an overnighter. It,s right on I-10, so there's highway noise at times, plenty of it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sites are grass and fairly level. Based on previous night's park, this park was overpriced at $37. But all in all, not a bad park. We camped at Lake City RV Resort (formerly Oaks "N" Pines) in a Fifth Wheel.

Eagles Landing RV Park, Holt, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

For the price, a very nice park. Sites are long enough to pull a 37ft 5th wheel into the site and leave the tow truck attached. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Park is far enough off I-10 to offer a quiet night's sleep. We'll stay here again. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Magnolia RV Park Resort, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Fair park, easy to get in, easy to leave. Nice folks run the place, but the location leaves a little to be desired. The rate was about commensurate with the overall quality of the park. We stayed one night. We camped at Magnolia RV Park Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Nightly rate based on month stay. A really nice Park. We've stayed here 4 times previously. Sites aren't the largest, but each site is paved (and level), concrete patio, table, and marked w/lighted globe. Very friendly and accommodating people make this one of our favorite parks. Has it's own beach on the inland waterway, and is only a few minutes to the Gulf beaches. Near shopping and restaurants. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Great beach RV Park. 4th time we've stayed at this park. Very friendly and accommodating management and staff. Well maintained, lighted, and safe park. Each site is concrete and has it's own lighted globe and picnic table. Sites are not huge, but large enough for the largest of rigs. Would recommend park for extended stays. One of our favorite parks. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Simply put, this is the best RV Resort we've ever stayed at. Excellent facility that even includes a bus to take groups on outings. We stayed one week in April '10. We plan to stay at least two weeks next spring. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our 3rd visit to the park. One of our favorite RV parks. Very helpful and great staff. Well kept park but gets a little crowded on holiday weekends. Would highly recommend this park. We stayed two months. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
