Nashville KOA, Nashville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Have stopped here overnight for several years enroute to and from Florida. Nice campground, next to Campers World and several nice restaurants. Did not have reservations, and came in after office was closed. The rate was much higher than in the past, and staff explained it was their "after hours rate." Seems awful high for mid winter when all amenities are unavailable. Will probably find less expensive accommodations for future overnight stays. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Hillman Ferry Campground, Land Between the Lakes NRA, Golden Pond, Kentucky

Date of Stay: September, 2005 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent campground. Lots of tall pine trees and spacious sites. Sites are fairly level, but be careful pulling in because of so many trees. Administered by the Forestry Service so not a lot of amenities, but staff is very friendly, and the grounds are clean with abundant wildlife. We have camped here many times and never disapointed. Cellphone and satellite reception is spotty. We camped at Hillman Ferry Campground, Land Between the Lakes NRA in a Fifth Wheel.
