Lakeside Campground, Ripley, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Owner very helpful. Park is on Lake Erie, but no sites available on waterfront for transients. Most transient sites are back-ins along the road into the park next to the office. Quiet, no highway noise or trains. Verizon reception good. This is our third stay here and will come again when in the area. We camped at Lakeside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Wagons West RV Park, Fillmore, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

An older park on the mend with new owners. Lots of grass with gravel spots and roads. New owners and new managers are working hard to improve this park. It is right downtown Fillmore. Well signed and easy access. I have a 38ft fifth wheel and had no problems. Site was level. Since it was raining I did not even disconnect. Very nice and quiet. Verizon WIFI 4G worked well. Would stay again. We camped at Wagons West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Calico Ghost Town & Campground, Yermo, California

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

As one reviewer put it "This is a Rustic Campground With all Facilities." It is about 3 miles from the freeway on a well paved road. Gravel once you get there. They had coin operated showers, but it appeared that the heads had been removed from all but one. That is why I said no showers. Very quiet. Summer appears to not be their prime season. No activities from May to September. We would return again. Rate is normally $34, We got a 10% senior discount. We camped at Calico Ghost Town & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Harrisburg East Campground, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

It is a little hilly, but I see no reason some are negative about it. My site was level right to left and I only had to raise the nose a bit to make it level front to back. NO BLOCKING REQUIRED. Site 104. Good shade, may bother those with satellite. Verizon service good. Gravel and dirt pads. Good staff. Would come back again. We camped at Harrisburg East Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Glenyan RV Park & Campground , Ashland, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Rather rustic. Our pull through was a little narrow for today's rigs. We had only Electric (30A) and Water in the pull through. Some of the back ins were FHU. The faucet had a broken handle. It had been that way a long time. Staff was pleasant. Verizon service was good. Not sure if I would go back, it needs some TLC. Rate includes discount. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
