We stayed here for a week while having service on our motorhome. It is better than staying at Tiffin's campground: all concrete, no mud or dust! It has water, power and sewer hookups and just recently added WIFI. We stayed in Site 3, some interference from a tree for satellite depending on the wind but I wouldn't give up that tree in the 96-98 degree weather going on. The manager and her staff are very friendly and very accommodating if you need help of any kind. Nice pleasant place to stay for a very fair price.

We stayed during the Labor Day holidays with four other couples and loved every minute. The staff of Bella Terra are outstanding in every way which makes the experience even better. We attended some of the activities scheduled and had a wonderful time. Bella Terra is located within about 10 miles of Gulf beaches, far enough for peace and quiet, close enough to hit the beach if you want. The resort is gated and therefore you don't have to worry about leaving anything out - super! The sites are all large and clean, landscaping is always perfect, the clubhouse area is outstanding with big screen tv, spa, and more. To me this is the perfect place to go.

Grand looking landscaped entrance but then I saw the sites- not so grand. Lot of sun, not wide enough for your chairs and no trees. The grass was high and needed cutting. The dog walk on the map doesn't exist. The lake had a concrete wall around it except by the "beach" area. Weeds growing up all around the lake and the "beach". Only a very small part of what appears on the map has been developed. It was miles from everything. I won't go again.

There is nothing negative about Bella Terra, absolutely nothing. The sites are very large, beautifully landscaped, always clean and the hookups are very well placed. The roads are wide and turns are easy. Trash is picked up from the corner of your lot daily. The dog walk is huge and grass covered- no dirt here! The clubhouse is beautiful with a theater room & seating, an exercise room with fantastic machines, a sauna and large open spaces. Bella Terra has many events there, we attended their shrimp boil feast while there. The staff is so friendly, helpful & remember your name! Impressive! It is just far enough from the beach to be quiet and restful but close enough that it takes only 10 minutes to get there. My favorite place to go and I do, every year!

This is an old park in need of some repairs. The sites were some gravel with mostly dirt and unlevel. The roads were really tight for a 40' motorhome. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did have good power and water but the sewer connection needed repair. There were a lot of "permanent" residents. Received notice of begging so not to answer door after dark. We won't stay here again.

Good location, nice people, clean, good price, easy access to main highway with a red light. It is tight and very crowded at the front when you are driving to the back of the park where the "big rig" pull-through sites are. Once back there it was open and easy to get into site. Sites were gravel and unlevel requiring pads under wheels and jack pads. Also they had an electrical problem with high voltage spikes in the afternoon which they were aware of but had not fixed. Thank heavens for surge protector. They had to replace the breaker when we first arrived on our site. They addressed the breaker issue very quickly.

We stayed at an owner's rental site and not in the Rally Park which is very nice also. The lots are large and well landscaped, well maintained. The clubhouse is fantastic. The staff is very friendly, helpful and greet you with a smile. The hookup post is even attractive! Lighting at night is beautiful and conducive to walks. The park is centrally located to Tanger Outlet Mall, lots of happenings and the beach. Our experience was very positive and we will definitely return again.

We were at the Allegro Campground the week of May 10, 2010. It was our first trip to Red Bay and the experience was very good. The campground was right next to the repair facility which was a definite plus. The sites were clean and the hookups (full) were excellent. The motorhome wash area was clean and well maintained. The restroom/baths were excellent. The host was very friendly and helpful which was important for our first experience. The only complaint, a minor one, was the dust. We loved how everyone walked around and talked. Very friendly atmosphere here!

The campground itself is excellent. Shaded sites with some backing up to a bubbling stream (very soothing) and a fair amount of space per site. Our rig was 40' and barely fit on the site, however they do have some pull-through sites (off the water) for longer rigs. The turns are pretty tight inside the park for bigger rigs. The biggest plus was that the park was so clean and well-kept! The restrooms were the best I have ever experienced. The campstore carries essentials and the staff was very nice. The downside is getting into the park: the turn in (to the right) requires moving into the left lane to turn right. It is 90 degrees or more which we didn't know until on it, as it immediately goes downhill. Coming in by turning left is no problem but turning in to right is plain scary on that busy road. Across the road is a real grocery store which was great. There were no children here while we visited and the pool was still closed, but the facilities looked nice though not extensive. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
