I can't really classify this as a nice park. The sites are hard rock and while rock the streets were graded down and are now muddy. Streets are extremely narrow (only as wide as your RV) and sites are so close you cannot maneuver without driving across the grass. A lot of old broken down RV's and loud motorcycle noise when they drive through the park. Golf carts drive so fast they are a hazard. Highway noise is awful if you're parked at the south end of the park. The staff was friendly and helpful but unfortunately the park is just old and run down and no money is being spent to maintain it.

While this is a very nice park, the sites are not at all level. In reading the other ratings, I feel the owner must have posted several posts as they talk of "crowning" for drainage. There is no shade from the horrible Houston heat and when we were there, the pool and hot tub did not appear to be well maintained as there was excessive foaming and an odor. The facilities are great, but there were many long term rv's that had 'stuff' piled around them and many were parked with their vehicles in the roadways making it very difficult to maneuver. There was an excessive amount of noise from ATV type vehicles further in the back of the park and one night while there we heard a lot of what seemed to be gunfire. There is no signal light when leaving the park and it is very difficult to enter Rayford as it is a 4 lane, very busy highway. The management seemed distracted and aloof.

What a fun park. It is very rustic and sites are close together, but the overall facility is geared for everyone having fun. This park offers plenty to do for everyone including river tubing, horseback riding, putt putt golf, fishing etc. We camp at this park as often as we can.

This park is run by one teenager and one sour manager. The park is not well kept and trash cans are usually overflowing onto the streets. Tree limbs are very low and cause damage to RV's. It is very difficult to maneuver the streets due to trees. Laundry room is awful. No air conditioning and very dirty. Mostly filled with permanents who pile a lot of junk around and under their RV's. They advertise having WI-FI, but it is not accessable to all sites, only a very few close to the office. Electric power is minimal. We had very low voltage when there and the park manager said it was our RV. We have not had the problem anyplace else. No restrooms or showers.

This park is very tight and hard to maneuver. Trucks and cars park in the street making it very hard to pull into your site. Not very well maintained.
